i don't think you sanded enough on the DX12 mouth piece...it can look pretty good if you sand enough

Is that the stock cape? If so you got that to lay nicely.

Yes it's stock. I've tucked the cape under the shoulder armor so it has a little pull from behind.

Added the DX02 faceplate, cut the gloves and changed the pose last night...iPhone shot:

I still need to work on that EMP pose but I like the changes. Still hoping to get a cape from Tony Meis and add Robbie's faceplate as an alternative look.

To anyone that has used these before, can you post pics of what they look like with your collectibles? I'm thinking of buying these but I've read that some IKEA lights have a yellow like tint to them but I'm not sure if that was referring to these. Thanks in advance for any responses guys!

This really bites and I'm in the same predicament searching for a better alternative. I found a decent one on ebay, unfortunately, the wires are short and I've read somewhere that they burn out quickly.

I've had the older Ikea dioders for several years now and I even leave them on all night when I come in from work, and leave them on all day on weekends and they're still bright and has a nice bright cool white lighting, but unfortunately, IKEA switched manufacturers and the ones they sell now have a piss yellow tint to it.
If you must get one from Ikea, I recommend getting the Dioder that you can change colors cause you can play with the settings and I've left mine on a bright setting but it has a blue tint to it, much more appealing though than than the burnt yellow from the new dioder.

No problem man, I'm a firm believer that lighting is mandatory on figures, it gives it that museum look inside the detolf. someone recommended the LEDs from barlighting, supposedly, they're much nice, but I havent had a chance to order one from them yet.

You're probably using the older round Dioder, from what I understand, the new Round Dioder also suffer the burnt yellow tint.

That's definitely something to look into. Never thought about bar lighting. I thought about led rope lighting but have a feeling it wouldn't light it how I want it to be lit

Looks good but something is off about it compared to the lighting I'm trying to accomplish. That could just be because I'm looking at them on my phone too lol I'll check them out once I get to a Desktop/laptop.

The Doubles were killing me back then too. I know I love batman but I figured I dont need 6 of them, lol.
Everytime I think I'm pretty much done, HT unveils something.
The Depp line, I think would want Ichabod Crane, or an ICON line, but I think I'm pretty satisfied with Sparrow.
Wanted Sweeney Todd so bad, but eventually cancelled my PO.



yeah, it is damn hard when there's sooo many freaking cool releases. Will control can be a beotch sometimes.

Doubles are my staple of buying- one I just can't display as it drives me crazy knowing I don't have a "in box" one.

Only on figures I really really love...trouble is I love too many of them!!!!
