The body on mine looks very wide. Sometimes the head looks too small, it depends on how you pose it.

I will say that my feelings on the body itself are very mixed. There is something odd about it. I don't know if it's the legs or what, but it took a while to find the sweet spot. Once I got him posed, he was fine. There are minor annoyances with it, though.

Nice! But you need to give these EB's 1/4 some more room :)

Hehe poor Eamon. Gets told the same thing everyday :D

Aye, there's no getting away from that but I guess it's deserved.
But I really don't want a forth detolf as I feel it will turn the living area into a museum.
But I guess there;s no avoiding it especially when Hulk and Enterbay T2 BD arrives.

I just got this figure in from Redford Films tonight and I am absolutely floored. As someone that has collected Sideshow premium format figures for years, I have never seen as realistic a portrait and paint job as this figure. I'll still be buying Sideshow's comic statues, but I am officially on board with Enterbay's HD 1:4 scale figures...amazing.

Congrats bro!!!:clap

I posted this in the batman thread but for those who only read the joker thread here you go:

Ok guys I listened to you and caved in! I picked up both the Batman and Joker and I have to say these pieces are unbelievable. If you are a Batfan you definately need these in your collection. These two are true works of art! If you buy these two and Hottoys 1/4 figure those three would some up the whole Nolan trilogy. Definately a must buy!

Agree 100% have them both & planning for HT 1/4. Planning to display one with Bale HS.

Well, I for one am very happy I opted for this one instead of the new Hot Toys DX.

Just seeing it turned out now and I genuinley think the Enterbay is a better likeness and I much prefer the materials and over all shape too.

What are your thoughts chaps?

My interest in DX11 was hanging by a thread anyway, but seeing the new pics and having the EB Joker that I'm perfectly happy with, I just won't spend $300 on something that I already have a better version of. I may consider buying a PERS head down the line to put on the 1/6 Joker I already have, but the outfit, diorama and laughing sculpt don't do anything for me since I already have enough Joker stuff. I dunno, I just can't spend that much on something that's a step down from what I already have.

Awesome. Thank you for that. I cancelled one of my DX11 Pre Orders and used the funds to PO this instead, then seeing all the in hand pics of the DX11 popping up I started to feel I needed a second set again for what I planned to do, but ended up buying my cousins DX01 off him for $150 instead to go the "cheap" route. But still had that urge of wanting another DX11 set. After reading our post Im good now. Im sure once I have this and my DX11 that urge will stay dead. Thanks man!

At this point I'm undecided as to which I think looks better. Better accuracy etc, etc. The DX11 comes with 2 head sculpts and on the other hand my EB Bats needs a companion :lol

Decisions decisions.

Buy EB Joker. I've been undecided for months since I got Batman. Finally got it for Christmas, and it's incredible.

Here's the thing with the two competing versions. And hell, honestly I don't even know if they're competing...the 1/4 scale tends to be for a different breed of collector at times. I'm not by any means a 1/4 collector, but once I got the EB Batman followed by the EB Joker, they made my 1/6 versions almost obsolete. You can just do so much with the larger scale in terms of realism that it really brings out the flaws in the smaller scale.

But anyway, here's the thing. The 1/4 stuff is very all-encompassing...iconic versions, if you will. One version representing the ideal version of that character. The 1/6 can be that, but it's more suited for scene-specific pieces. Problem is HT can't friggin' decide on what scene to represent, so they just mash **** together (i.e. the PERS sculpt) and hope to represent every different facet of the character. The laughing sculpt is the opposite, in that it's very specific, but to me it's also very lacking.

The thing with the previous custom laughing sculpts is that Adam especially captured the manic emotion of Ledger's performance at that moment...the HT one just seems like a guy holding that expression as a model, not the actor actually expressing the emotion behind it. Hopefully that makes sense. The basics are there, it's just a very "empty" representation of it.

The PERS sculpt...I honestly don't know what scene it's meant to represent, but it's very much an amalgamation of his looks throughout the entire movie. That coupled with the way the coat looks in the in-hand pictures just throws the whole thing off for me, especially considering I only wanted the purple-suited Joker for my display...the laughing sculpt and everything else doesn't matter to me at all.

To summarize my rambling, the EB version is very much an end-all be-all representation of the character, whereas HT's myriad offerings give you the opportunity to represent almost every single different look he had throughout the movie. I would say accuracy-wise, the EB Joker wins overall. I very much prefer him and his presence in my shelf makes all the other offerings look bad. Of course, my opinion could be colored by the fact that I'm just sick and damn tired of having to do so much work to make many of my $200+ figures from HT look up to snuff because of their maddening refusal to fix the smallest things that keep their figures from being perfect. I'm still working on my 1/6 Joker this many years later, and within 5 minutes of setting the EB Joker up he makes him look stupid.

Yeah I got excited once the pics showed up, myself, but once I actually started looking at them I really just didn't care anymore. I'd rather take the money I was going to spend on yet another Joker and buy a much cheaper Bane, because I'd rather have a pretty good (if not great) representation of him than buy a 4th Joker. Hell, I'm entertaining selling off my 1/6 Joker and ToyFair Bats because the EB ones have taken their spots, I'm just too lazy to deal with listing them.

Thanks again, cr0w :) At this point i've compared (roughly) spending $300 for the DX11 or $400ish (locally) for the EB Joker. I've always wanted a 10-12 1:4 collection with maybe a select few 1:6 pieces. I may just get the EB Joker after all. It seems to be more clear now. What's the point of having an EB Bats without a companion.
