Regarding the knee pads, I actually did the opposite: using the SSC darts that I intentionally snapped off to glue onto the Medicom knee pads (which had a couple broken darts already since first getting it). The Medi knee pads always seemed better scaled to my eyes:

Thanks for jumping in - yours is the Boba I was thinking of! And I guess I got those kneepads mixed up. They do look good there.

Your Boba looks incredible. You, ECZ, and McHaleyArt have really taken the Medi Boba to another level. :clap to you guys.

Wow, it's really high praise to be put in that company, man. It was McHaley's Boba (among others here) that first got me inspired to kit-bash my own figure after being disappointed in Sideshow's final version, even though I ended up using a good number of its parts.

I really just wanted something I could live with, especially since there was no way I was willing to put the kind of effort guys like eczamurai put into their figures. And I'm still trying to score a cheap Hasbro CS Fett for its Wookiee braids, so my Fett sadly remains unfinished.

Finally something we both agree on. LOL!!!

Then I take it back.

eczamurai's skills are far inferior to his ego, and he's endlessly and obsessively butchering $250+ worth of collectables to produce a 1/7 scale figure that looks like a cross between an off-the-shelf Medi Boba and one that was attacked with a Brillo pad and dipped in Easter egg dye.:wink1:

Now you're just being nasty.

Did you paint it yet? :impatient:

Nah but I have repainted these 2 as some form of procrasination lol, and a hasbro zuckuss!

Don't even think I'm going for the BH lineup, I just love these guy's style!

too busy at university at the moment for any customs :thud:

I think boba is gonna turn out alright, the only medi parts I'm tempted by are the knee pads, as I have a feeling SSC's are too big once ported over to a TT slim, but once I tighten their elastic it may pinch in the knee area enough (in case it is just knee jumpsuit bagginess making the knee profile look too big)

Hey fellas, just thought I would share my version. I made a few special modifications myself :wink1:

I'd say I hope they are only mere openers for the main show - Boba, but IG-88 has always been my favourite haha

which are???:dunno

Well as far as mods go:
Repositioned the cape under the backpack armor and put it on a swivel
Repositioned the chest plates
Repositioned the shoulder armor to hang naturally to the side
Shaved down the medi wrist pegs to fit on the slim body (sideshows hands seemed too large and bulky to me)

The actual recipe is all sideshow on a slim body with medi vest/chest plates/wookie braids, and medi helmet and gloves. These were just the parts I felt looked most screen accurate to me. :dunno

Can you post a straight-on photo (like Boba's just facing camera with arms/legs straight)? It looks great, but it's a bit hard to see the overall proportions with the more extreme poses.
