Re: What movie moments made you so emotional you felt the need to shed a tear?

Strangely enough i think i've gotten more teary-eyed over animation than live-action

It's those ****ing Disney movies, man; it's the stuff of my nightmares. Adorable little animals with adorable voices crying for their dead loved ones/friends. Hound's voice alone in The Fox and the Hound makes me want to cry.:lol:monkey2

Off the top of my head..

TDKR ending
ROTK Frodo's goodbye
Toy Story 3 ending
ROTK "for Frodo"
Avatar: Jake's speach

Oh yeah, how could I forget. The Penguin's death in Batman Returns. Elfman's music pretty much does it.

Hardball might not be the greatest movie ever but it made me sad:lol I HATE seeing little kids die in movies. Also every time and I mean every time I watch the LOTR trilogy. Not because I believe it's really sad, but because I think it's a beautiful trilogy with a incredible score. So happy it makes me sad? That Probably doesn't make sense at all :rotfl

^ Doppleganger.

I still have to watch that. Finished the series, and Fire Walk With Me is ****ing impossible to find around here.....is it worth it?

Well I think im a big crybaby then, Lol, some of the ones I remember:

Short circuit 2: Johnny 5 gets beat up
City of Angels ending
The Green Mile John coffey ending
Armageddon
LoTR HObbits
TDKR ending
Toy Story 3 ending
Gran Torino ending

I didn't think the Gran Torino ending was sad at all. Quite the opposite, in fact. I thought it was satisfying. Almost triumphant. Kinda like the end of Secondhand Lions. An old man that went out his way, with his boots on.

"Walt Kowalski once told me I knew nothing about life because I was an overeducated 27-year-old virgin who held the hand of superstitious old women and promised them eternity."
