Well then let's just cut out the middleman. Since Nolan's Batman was inspired by Bond, and Skyfall was influenced by Nolan's Batman, Skyfall was, in fact, inspired by Bond. No need to take Nolan dumps in the thread anymore.

Every one of the bond references in this one were done classy and subtle unlike dire another day, the closing scene with the office is just fantastic.

I just don't get why everything has to be compared to TDK, I mean it's a great movie and I enjoy it but it's not the holy grail masterpiece of cinema

I just don't get why people don't understand that Sam Mendes directly said he looked to TDK, I mean it's a simple thought but people are having a hard time wrapping their head around it.

I mean, you guys wonder why people despise Nolan's Batman. It's got more to do with the constant trolling praise of it outside of the Nolan Batman threads than it does the films. So, essentially, while you guys think they're better than vajayjay (don't lie, you do), you're ruining them for everybody else.

Off to see the film Skyfall tonight. It is a film that is not TDK. It will probly be ****. Most films that are not TDK are.

Longer now, since they're over and the desperation is setting in with the impending DVD release to be the nail in the coffin and this is all they have to live for.

I'm interested to see how TDKR holds up since I only saw it the once in theaters. It was too long IIRC.

Anyway I have the HYPEHYPEHYPEHYPE for Bond, some reviewers are saying MOTY which I hope is true. Its been an epic year for flicks; Prometheus (meh), TDKR (cool but long), EX2 ( return of the mac and the best fun I have had at the cinema for ages) now Bond and there is still The Hobbit to come this year. Was Avengers this year too?......IT ****ING WAS! This year has been HUGE.

It just comes down to how much you love the series.

As awesome as The Avengers , and Dredd were, Bond has been in my life since I was around 7 years old. So that alone made it a better experience.
