Pics look great. I'm in the SF bay area, so mine should arrive soon.
One question: Is it REALLY 17.5 inches tall? That's the official spec at SS, but it doesn't look that tall in the photos; more like 15" to me... *sigh*

Probably 17.5" with the legs fully extended.
The Monger does look cool, however, with the knees bent in a more dynamic pose.

Argh! Stupid UPS holiday schedule... Was really hoping this guy would arrive tomorrow in advance of the 4 day weekend. Looks like he is coming Monday due to the "no ground deliveries on Friday" thing though.

lol looks like the spidermen are a thread stealer. my roommate posed them that way and was so funny i left them that way lol. not sure on size. ill measure tonight. but ya they probly say its 17.5 when its standing up right with no pose. hope u guys get urs in and hope its not missing anything. mine sadly was missing 2 of the 3 back leg flaps :/ i hope i dont have to send him back....

What did SSC say about the leg flaps. It did come the other day only I don't get to open it till next month. This is the 1st I have heard about any problems. Is he top heavy? Like you he will be going on top. We live in Calif so I like to use Wax the feet of most of my items.
If you look at my Avatar, I found Yoda that way on the ground. I could not pass up on the pictures (there are more). Now he is on his back with his lightsaber pointing up to the sky.

i emailed them and they forwarded my email to the return and exchange services and will get back to me in 3-5 days. its odd i thought mayb i broke it but nope i looked all around and no flaps. it slike they didnt even put them on... its not like im ever gona sell this but like u all know for price i want everything! lol. id rather they send me the parts or reimburse me some credit instead of sending him back and waiting for long time to get return. he seems nice and sturdy. depending on the pose. i did a cali test. posed him and hit the shelf and table to see if he fall but nope he stayed good. but i will keep him in a safe spot so incase the big one happens he wont fall 5 feet lol
You could always put a guy line on it to make sure it doesn't fall over.
