What scale is the movie released ironman? I mean the red/ yellow maquette? Also what's the differences between all the marks whatever numbers? I'm thinking about getting the current red and gray versions but now with a PF coming what's the differences? If they are remaking the current Ironman marks then I will wait for the new one. But if they are not remaking him then I might go ahead and buy the two current maquettes. So confusing for coming in late. I see pics of the mark 3,4,6 and 7 and they all look the same to me? Is there really any differences in all the many versions?

Yes the maquette, is the maquette base on the movie version or is this how he looks like now in the reg comics as well? I want to get a iron man but not a big fan of the movie costumes unless it's the same as the ironman comic books.

Okay so the Maquette is the movie version from Iron Man 2 and the Avengers, and it is his sixth armor thus the Mark VI. It is pretty close to one of his armors in the comics called the Extremis. However, in general many of the armors shown in the comics these days are based odd of the movie armors.

Comiquette = comic based
Premium Format = could be either or

Only thing that bothers me is that its a mix and match movie /comic set. That would drive me utterly bonkers. My set wont happen until I have them all "assembled" properly

I think so far we have almost the complete comic book avangers line up bar Hawkeye, which will be released next year. Classic Thor PF, Captain America PF, Hulk PF and the Classic Iron Man Comiquette complete the line up. As for the movie avengers line up, i think we are waiting on the Hulk maquette and then a Hawkeye PF to be released at some point to complete that line up. So far we've had the Captain America PF, Thor PF, Black Widow PF and Iron Man Mark VI Maquette...

Well in defense of TFA I prefered it to the the Avengers movie variant. TFA version IMO was much more well thought out and inventive and didnt have that silly hood. Avengers version is closer to the comic version however so that would be nice to have also. I'm not a complete hater.

The Avengers costume is awesome, TILL you reach the neck. Then it looks like they pulled a blue condom over a helmet and stretched it down to his chest. If they had just left the helmet design with what he had in TFA with a few minor tweaks I would have been a happy man.

none of the movie statues except hulk are from avengers, but personally it doesnt matter to me. Thor is thor, capt is capt...who cares if the uniform has some slight variation based on their previous movie instead of avenger movie.

hawkeye movie pf isnt happening for a long time, but i am just as happy to leave him out of the display.

did i mention hawkeye sucks?
