On the second season now. The dad just died which was unexpected and now the duo are teaming up with there 50th hot chick trying to catch a demon clown.

is anyone watching season 8? I'm not cuz I wait for netflix but I just finished season 7, which is now tied for favorite with 1 and 2. I really hated the gloom and doom vibe of 4, 5, and 6, I almost stopped watching the show during that stretch. I loved the fun vibe of 7 which felt more like the first 2 seasons to me.

Nice to find out Benny's background in the latest episode. So he was already a non human killing Vampire before he was killed by his Sire. Now that he's succeeded in his mission to kill his former kin, where's he going to go now?

We didn't get much farther in finding out what happened to Cas in Purgatory.

Sam's flashbacks to Amelia really aren't that interesting to me.

Yeah, I was prepared to not like Benny....and now, I like him more. :lol Still don't trust him though.

And man, I miss Cas. These flashbacks are killing me. What happened?!?

My favorite scene last night was when Dean 'took out' Benny's girlfriend. It had such an eerie, poetic vibe to it, IMO. Benny realizing the girl he came to save was not the person he thought she was, and then Dean coming out of nowhere, thinking she was just 'another' vampire. The timing was perfect and just one of those weird 'more than a coincidence' moments.

Great writing.

But Benny didn't go there to save her, he already thought she had been killed when he was killed. He obviously never wanted her to be turned into a vampire and wasn't happy that it had happened to her after his death. I think if Dean hadn't killed her, Benny would have anyway, knowing that she wasn't the woman he'd loved anymore.

I wonder if Cas got out of Purgatory without them after they end up leaving him behind. Dean and Benny know something, but hopefully it doesn't take too long for us to find out what happened between them all.

I forgot about that. :slap Good point.

I still liked the way it played out though. :lol

As for Dean and Benny knowing something, I agree. I hope Cas got out, but not sure what happened. Maybe he's still in Purgatory?

And speaking of Purgatory, how cool were those special effects of the Leviathans 'landing'?!? I loved that scene! Very creative, I thought.

Yeah, I liked that scene too :) Though the Leviathans didn't seem all that hard to kill, just cut off their heads the same as any vampire :) Cas though seems pretty useless when a Leviathan is concerned, he needs to find himself a blade to defend himself.

I wonder if they attempt to leave with Cas and it doesn't work. In the premiere we see Dean leave with Benny hitched along for the ride, but Cas is no longer with them to even try to see if he can escape with them.

He could have died in Purgatory and is brought back by God (yes again :) )

I would really like them to introduce God, by series' end. I wouldn't mind if it turned out to be that it was Chuck, all along. (I REALLY liked his character in S4-S5.)

As for Cas, yeah, I can't see them leaving without trying to get him out of there. He either: 1.) died, 2.) is still in Purgatory, or 3.) is out of Purgatory. (Stating the obvious, I know. :lol) I'm leaning more towards option 2, but have no idea.

I liked the Garth ep last year, so bring it.......still miss the hell out of Joe and her momma (random thought just now)

I liked seeing Jo last year in Season 7 for that brief appearance, but I agree. Miss their characters a lot.

I wish they'd never killed of Jo and Ellen.

Also, are we going to find out what actually happened to Meg anytime soon?

Jo was hot. Supernatural hates hot ladiez. Jo died, Jess died, Dean ditched the yoga instructor and his mini-me. Out of all of them, though, Jo makes me the saddest. I used to hope she and Dean would wind up together.

I hope so. I actually forgot that her fate was in limbo. I think the writers would be crazy not to follow up on that.

I was watching 'Simon Said' the other day, where Jo plays REO Speedwagon on the jukebox in the bar, and I started having one of those 'man, I wish Jo and Dean would have gotten together' moments.

All of this talk makes me want to re-watch the early seasons again.

It could've worked, too. It's not like they would've had any secrets, since they both went out killing monsters and ghosts. :lol damn, I'm sad now. :monkey2
