The height doesn't bug me. I'm going to replace the body with an HT Pred anyway, but I need that armor and the Sebastian sculpt to be perfect!
I will say that, in the pic, the cape seems to be sitting nicely!

Same here Mikey. I have the highest expectations for the Shaw sculpt.

The profile shot on the first page looks damn good... and they did an excellent job on the 1:1; so I'm confident this will be a very solid sculpt. Now, I can't say the same for the paint work; but Sideshow tends to do better on old guys and aliens. So a scarred-up old Guy should play to their strengths

I wonder how old the new "teaser" pic is... the belt is at least positioned differently from SDCC as it has the odd button next to the buckle, which is not present in the SDCC pics.

I'd almost wonder if this shot was taken around the time they were finalizing the Snowtrooper and with an earlier prototype/mock-up :huh

Eh... :dunno Hasbro dome plus Kaiyodo-Screamin head/face gives you the same thing. (kidding:lol)
Well, you are not too wrong and it's the combination that Hurricane used.

What do you mean by the fanmade market - is that Marmit going to become available as a casting?
No, something else. Something better.

If it's true, Hot Toys next Star Wars figure is from the PT, I wish they would do an Episode III Darth Vader.

Include a burned Anakin headsculpt, the table, and robotic arms used to mount his helmet.

C'mon HT.
Announce your Vader already so we could move on from this.

I know of a fan project to print a scan of a full-sized Vader helmet scaled down to 1:6.

If a fan project can do this to good result, why can't SSC?

I'm guessing this is what it is though - Marmit is not going to release their Vader.
