Les, that repaint is off the charts. And seeing as how Sideshow will probably use the same sculpt for their Tatooine Luke (hopefully to be announced in the not too distant 30th Anniversary future -- fingers crossed), looks like I may be looking to someone with your gifts for a repaint.

Bravo!

I doubt they would re-use this sculpt for a tatooine luke. The sculpt barely looks like Yavin Luke let alone tatooine luke.

They seem to be good about not re-using sculpts. I think we'll get a different one for Farmboy... the very least his hair needs more feathering!

Wow....Les is amazing. The sculpt is still a lot weaker than the proto and even with that spectacular repaint I'm still a little disappointed. Maybe if they do a really good Farmboy Luke I can swap heads there....Definitely leagues below Jedi Luke....

I still reckon the sculpt is decent. It's similar to PF Tatooine Luke, so it's probably not far off what we'll get for the 12" Farmboy - I'd be happy with a slight hair change and better paint job.

The only problem with th sculpt is it looks undetailed and needs fine tuning. That would be easy enough for SS with no looming deadlines like CIV.

The hair just isn't right for Tattooine Luke though, even in the film, at the Celebration he was done up nice and formal, on the farm it was like 70's rebel kid I'll look like I don't care with my mullet fraying about. We'll definitely get a new HS for that Luke.

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol It's a nice figure and I'm glad I have it, but it's got a healthy edition size and likely will end up Second Chance, what is this seller thinking...

Probably thinking he'd find a rube... after the Maul inclusive closed I saw one sell on eBay for $180 :google There are people out their that will just buy w/o checking first to see what the figure is really worth. Thats why BIN's can be so effective.

Well I admit I may not scour options to save $20 or so on a figure, but to just bite at a price like this without doing research and what not, that's just being stupid and you deserve to have your money taken.
