Statue Witch-King (Ringwraith) Maquette

271/500 - Finally got a chance to really look it over and well...my open hand has his "ring" finger broke, lol. Kind of ironic isnt it.
He wanted the ring so bad the tip of his ring finger broke off. Its basically the small claw of the armor that snapped off.

How do I deal with this. Never really had a damaged piece from side show. Thats really the only problem I see. Everything else is fantastic, looks really nice. Right now I just used the small dagger hand, but I kinda like the look of the open hand as well. Do I just need to email sideshow and see if they will send me a new hand or how does that work. Do I need to smash the hand?

Sucks to hear about your damaged wraith. At least you have a back-up hand with the Ex. until everything is sorted out. I'm sure SS will take care of it. Good luck though.

Yeah I sent them a pick of the hand and its getting sorted out now. Thanks man, yeah I actually have him displayed with the dagger hand now. Im pretty confident my issue will be resolved, Im not to worried. Like you said worse case scenario I have to keep him displayed with the dagger hand.

I just saw in the newsletter that they are taking WL reservations for the EX.... so why are people being denied a replacement?

Taking people for the WL means they have items for sale. Generally replacements come from unnumbered pieces and those may be short. You would actually screw up the ES just randomly using the numbered sealed pieces.

Frank, this wraith is worth it only because SS/W didn't really make one in statue form with the hood on (the SS/W Wiki doesn't count since he's sporting his battle helm). For the record, I'm still sticking with the original SS/W WKTF so I opted out of the Twilight Witchking maquette.

Yeah, that's surprisingly true. I'm ok with not getting the exclusive so i'll let the waitlist play out. If it doesn't come through, I'll just get the regular.

I thought about that but i'm happy with the Ringwraith on steed, Morgul Lord and Ringwraith bust, as well as the 'Escape off the road' wall plaque.

that's generally true but for one of my ringwraith that couldnt be seated properly onto the base (as i posted earlier in this thread) i thought i returned to sideshow after they sent me the return label, but imagine my surprise 2 weeks later my doorman brings me another brand new ringwraith ex when i came home from work.

apparently there was a miscommunication and sideshow decided i dont want a refund but a replacement, and they sent me a brand new statue for some reason.

I never had that happen before
