Ha! Well, I must confess that I had many of the detolfs already... I had been displaying my MOTUC collection in them, but that line was starting to outgrow that room, so I switched the MOTU onto regular shelfing in 2 of our smaller basement rooms. I figured this one room would be perfect for Hot Toys, and MOTUC could feel free to stretch its legs elsewhere.

And thanks very much for the compliment on the collection! Many of those came from a local dealer friend that hooked me up with some great deals, but a lot of them came thanks to fellow freaks over in the classifieds (which is an AWESOME place to find some deals).

I love introducing her to these figures. Believe it or not, the Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker are her favorites. They are displayed on the lower detolf shelves because she requested they be at her eye level.

There is just something about the look of those two... I think it was perfect on film, and was in turn perfectly translated by Hot toys.

We do plan on eventually getting to all of the Hot Toys in my collection (plus the pre-orders once they arrive), so the Avengers are definitely coming. Next up is Blaze's pick- Irom Man Mk II Armor Unleashed. We thought we'd leave it up to everybody else to pick the next one after that (if I own it). I do own both the Nick Fury and Avengers Iron Man MK VI, so it is possible Avengers will be next up after the MK II...

I'm a father as well. But my son takes more appreciation to them than my daughter. He loves superheroes while she's too much into Al la Loopsie.
