Also, why are the lines on the mask now blue? They're meant to be black?

What blue underneath the red? I have studied HQ pics of that mask pretty damn closely and there's no blue! The only blue is the metallic eye frames, thats it!

I think they got close. Some refinement is definitely in order. Saying it's nothing like the man is a bit strong.

I don't know, because what I also really dislike with this HS is the hair.

I wait for official pics from Hot Toys before considering canceling my pre order. After all it will probably not be sold out even after the official release, so I'm not worry.

Mine will be masked too, but still a decent HS of Andrew would have been nice!

I don't have a Spider-man figure and I really dig the new costume so for me I won't be canceling.

Their 1/6 ALIENS alien warrior, the weak joints ruined what would have been a classic figure. otherwise never been disappointed, always met or exceeded expectations. This figure looks awesome, I will most likely be getting this.
