But there's still the wrists —actually I'm not fond of the neck seam on this, either— and the fact that it needs that ugly stand unless you wanna risk some damage.

While this GOD bash looks really great here, I'm not a fan of how action figures look when posed - they look... well, like action figures, which I'm not a fan of. To me, they usually look best in a neutral pose, but a whole line of that on my shelves I'd find boring. I'd just like a line of dynamic 1:6 statues. If this Bruce would have been an ETD one so as to justify it being a statue with no joints, I wouldn't have complained, either.

When I heard about Black Label, I loved the idea of small statues with such quality headsculpts, it seemed to me like the best of both worlds, but if all they're gonna do is action figures without joints in a neutral pose, I don't see the point.

Also, seeing as this is a Bruce Lee statue and not one of him portraying one of his characters, I wonder what their next release will be - a chill-out Stallone statue? An elevator muzak Arnie one?

Well this was basically a reuse of an old prototype body and a way to sell the special 3rd head promised to people that bought GoD3 at the original convention.

Future releases may be more dynamic.

I already have 'final battle Bruce' (1/4 HD-1002 statue) on a sweet custom mirror dio (from OnesixthBruce/Woody). But man I'd love a 1/6 'dungeon fight' in the torn catsuit and twin sticks !

Maybe Bill didn't think it would be worth it for him to only make 300 (or so) head sculpts on the production line, so figured he might as well go all out & make another BL.

Well, if everything goes smoothly, I should be getting a "free" (I paid for it, but it's been so long now, that it kinda feels free ) "exclusive" head sculpt, so at least my 'Black Label' statue won't be headless for long

I suspect the mystical '3rd head' will have battle damaged paint apps for the GoD figure .....and to seperate it slightly from the BL-1

This thread went very quiet with all the huge Hot Toys and Enterbay announcements today

My statue has left Hong Kong woooo!

But you don't need that to be a statue. All major joints are covered and it looks great as is. Statue Bruce should be so we don't have to look at ugly ugly joints

I'm thinking about using the head on this statue for a GoD bash.

Yeah, I think they're Bat related. There's a 1/4 Batman and a non exclusive Gordon among other things.

There'll probably be recasts of the BL-1 sculpt floating around before long.

Hopefully the improved realism & paintjob of this release carries on over to the future 1/6 big boss & 1/4 Bruce releases.

Yeah its a superhero free-for-all
About 6 Batman releases either announced for the first time or seen for the first time.
The same for Marvel Avengers and Xmen stuff.
Going to be some broke...and potentially divorced ...dudes around here soon

If you can't see any Bruce in that sculpt then you're blind....

And there is a very god chance this IS GoD's 3rd head.
You think they've gone to the trouble of sculpting a new one for 300 people only? Most likely this is what you're getting but with battle damaged paint apps....
