Hot toys again forgot to add the bolts on the figure! they made the same mistake with the 3 olders figures back in the day.
Fred Barton made the same mistake!
In the pic below, you see the bolts in front and in back of his shoulder rings? Originally they weren't there. The 2nd pic is from the bust prior to the bolts.

Kind of glad to get a chance at picking up ED209 again. I got into the collecting game a little late for that.
Other than Terminator, Aliens and the Predator series though, my collection seems to be becoming almost dominated by comic book movie figures. It'll be nice to shake things up a bit!

Sculpt/proportions of both looks much better than original releases already (even with the fact that they are just unpainted prototypes).
And it looks like no more rubber on RoboCop armor & ED-209 dome which is an absolutely right way to go.

Looks good so far. But I think I will only consider this figure if the unmasked head is included. For me collecting HT's is all about head sculpt and likeness (that's why I shell out the big bucks). IMO, if this figure comes only masked only 50% of the figure is there. Again I do not know the history of actors rights and stuff but I am in no rush.........

Definitely hoping for an unmasked head and that ED is in correct scale. Battle damaged panels would also be nice.

They had plenty of time to do a real painted proto, this reveal was so half-assed for Robo. Shouda spent the time on showing this off in all its glory than needless extravagent batvenger dio displays imo.

right now only the avengers figures are going sold out before the release date, which used to be the norm for hot toys figures 2-3 years ago but not in the past year, it´s understandable that they give them priority.
On the plus side at least we know that they are working on robo and Ed its just a matter of waiting a year or so till the figure ship
