Those images just show how off each sculpt is. HT looks like he's had an alergic reaction and his face has gone all puffy. EB has the "gauntness' down right, but something is off...much more realistic looking tho probably due to the increase in size. Neither are dead on bale likenesses tho, far from it.

he was still pretty young in BB....seven years ago...I think it looks just like him, yes younger

I was actually aout to say that about this EB sculpt. looks like American Psycho to me. but I'm not saying its a bas sculpt. I liek the quinty eyes. like you said, give personality. Like he's thinking hrd abouts something or kind of pissed

I think the HT sculpt is amazing and the EB sculpt misses the mark. If HT has a BW sculpt like that for the 1/4, it's going to be even harder to say no. It's hard enough with everything else looking so great on the EB figure. The Begins suit is my favourite batsuit.

Was Bruce's hair ever that light a shade of brown? I think there could be more variance to the paint app there.

Not too impressed with this one. Nothing we haven't really seen before here. I guess the incentive here is the scale.

I do like the metal belt and all the removable pieces that I assume attach by magnetic components. That's a nice touch. The assortment of different batarangs and mine bombs are also impressive. The cape is excellent too and appears to drape properly.

Other than that, easy pass. The Bale sculpt isn't remarkable and the actual Batman figure isn't anything new to those that dabble in 1/6 collecting. I'm sure Hot Toys will retaliate with a better Begins Batman in either the 1/6 or 1/4 scale, perhaps both.


Cheers to those that get this. Hopefully the suit and body is free of any quality control issues. Be careful, those will definitely be things to watch out for.

In the film it's length seemed to change from scene to scene....so it is OK to me
