I have never put myself on a waitlist before, but I don't want to pass up the EX on this one.

Do you guys know if you're still charged the non-refundable deposit when put on the waitlist? Or is it that you just can't get it on flex and you must be charged the full amount as soon as it comes in stock?

You'll only be charged the NRD if your waitlist converts to an order. You may be able to convert your waitlist to a Flex Pay once it converts to an actual order by calling Sideshow Customer Service.

So I added my name to the wait list on this one for the EX, but seeing how many other people have as well I'm not sure I have much shot. When do you give up waiting and go ahead and pre-order the regular version before it sells out?

If I'm not mistaken the reg is still a PO. If you'd like to hold out for an EX I'd recommend waiting until the regs are in stock. They shouldn't sell out immediately. In the mean time your waitlist might convert before the regs are even close to selling out. Shouldn't be a problem but watch closely. Keep an eye on the newsletters. They'll tell you what's going on with the waitlisted for the EX's.

I was waiting for Maleficent to get Low Quantity but it went from In Stock to Sold Out right away even though it had be available for months.

Yeah I did the same for the Droids set and paid the price big time. I mean it said TBD so I waited. Unless it's something that I don't really want like the star wars mythos maul or galactus. Those I do want but it must be at a super nice price or I will just wait and hope the market gets flooded to swoop in.

and we don't? I'm still a student and ingis just started working... we also need to save for a house and such but if we really want something we order it and don't go whining about it because we waiting for something like an ES
