Favorite Superhero Movie of Summer 2012? (don't vote till you've seen em all please)

I would hve to say the Avengers is still the top movie this year. I did like TDKR movie, but I don't think it was better than TDK movie IMO.

It'll probably be the better made film, but I'm more of a comic book guy than a fantasy guy. So not only will it be difficult for me to compare the two genres, I personally find it easier to "geek out" over superhero stuff than Tolkien stuff.

TDKR, Avengers, Spidey... easier to compare. The Hobbit? Different thing entirely. Might as well throw Django Unchained into the mix then.

If its anything like Lord of the Rings ill top myself before it finishes just to make the misery end.

Aside from some nice fight scenes, they were god-awfully boring.

It's not a superhero movie,(not even gonna try to compare) but a lot of kids here are forgetting. The movie of the year hasn't even hit yet.

I agree with this 1 million percent. Like Carl said their are aspects that make it more difficult to compare than say the avengers vs batman. Personally, I thought The Hobbit trailer was better than the tdkr but I still enjoyed tdkr.

Yeah, it's got that road mountain to climb for sure. Based on what I've seen so far it will be up to the task.

I certainly hope so... I loved seeing the trailer before TDKR on the big screen...
