No kidding. I'm too angry to be scared by the time I'm in my seat.

I can't sleep though. Not without someone slipping something in my drink.

You'd rather have all that terror concentrated in a single moment?

The only thing about flying that bothers me is that I can't get out. The sensation gets to be overwhelming after the first couple hours. It's not like being in a car, where you can pull over and stop moving for a few minutes.

Yeah I hate that moment when they shut the door, I also hate not being in control of anything. Then there are the smart asses who hit you with the 'more chance of dying in a car crash BS'

No kidding. I'm driving the car, and that's how I know I'm not going to die. If I were flying the plane, I might have more confidences in my chances for survival.

It's a funny cartoon. The writing is great, and so is the art.

I've found elements of Loony Tunes, Ren & Stimpy, and a lot of the early Cartoon Network stuff (which makes sense, because Lauren Faust was heavily involved in that). I like cartoons a lot, and I'll be damned if I'm not going to watch one of the best in years just because it's girly.

I'm sure I will be joining you in a year or two when my daughter is old enough. :gah:

IS fine for someone to watch a show of course I watch cartoons all day long,
but I didn't find the writing that amazing or anything of My little pony, seemed like it was just another regular girls' cartoon, I keep hearing grown men saying its the writing so good you are missing out, but, it isnt, I mean, is regular cartoon writing,

and people can watch it its fine, but some of them sound pretty creepy, some of the fans

what I dont get is, why this show has such a strong following from guys, but other shows dont, thats the weird thing about it, that guys will only like this show to an obsessive point,

It's probably just another stupid fad. Because it is so far at the opposite end of the spectrum to what a typical guy watches.

Anyway, back to to things that are actually properly scary and not just disturbing:lol

One of my greatest phobias:
