Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Why spend 2000 on the original ex now when the lsf will cost you same or less and is twice as big!

Room? I will own this. I'm not a big fan of Doom but I love medieval body armor. This will be one of those that I buy it clearly on sculpt and not the love of the character. This will look great displayed with the original Foom PF.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

If was 1/4 the previuos pf beat this one

Is 1/2 and the previous pf beat this lsf

I prefer that this amazing piece(doom lsf) was the new pf,because 1/2 Scale is hard to collect

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Not sure if this was posted yet, but this will be well over $2,000. At least that is what I was told by one of the Sideshow guys at SDCC who was involved with it. He also said that the piece just barely made the cutoff time for presentation at the show. It was finished just a week ago.

ha! good luck to SS on that one. $2k is the price ceiling for most people on this line as it is, not wise to keep pushing their luck imo.

No matter how much I agree, there will without a doubt be those collectors who still shell out the dinero for it regardless.

I hate to say it, but after taking it all in at the show, I might be one of them. Just my opinion as always, but Doom made all the other LSF's look weak. A must buy piece. I have a feeling my tax returns will be tackled by this one.

So they want top ebay money for what people are paying for the Doom PF :lol

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

While awesome looking I just can't imagine paying 2K or more. Maybe if they only made a handful but its open edition. Nah, not even then.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

I guarantee you there will be more batman PFs made than all of the LSFs combined

I'd say your correct. Batmans sold out though the LSF's won't. If SS leaves Doom OE, which he will be, then SS will only sell a few here and there, but if SS said he is limited to 100 ES then they'd sell every one in a few months. Just like Batman, if SS had it OE then they would not sell near as many and it'd take a very long time to match sales figures on the now sold out, in 4 days, statue. Demand drives sales.

Yes, but if they make the LSF in runs, say 25 a run, they can sell them with limited storage overhead instead of making a larger run and hoping to sell through. This maximizes profit, and when they don't have any one ordering anymore, they can retire the run and move on to another.

It's more sound business wise than what they had with the Iron Man 1/2 scale.
