Super Freak
Why do you say that?
...because it's 5 ft long and 3 ft wide. It'll happen, though, and it'll be on our doorsteps...
...for a few hours...
...while we go get sledge hammers...
...to widen our doorways.
Why do you say that?
I think people are always going to run into the one thing that even the definite 'must-buy'-ers are mentioning...the size.
I do not think even the cost is going to be such a hold-back as the size. Look at how many people are fully on board for a full set of AVENGERS and that is over a grand, after all.
People will look, and think "Wow, that's amazing...I want one" Then realise that it's actually 22 1/2 cubic feet (approx) of display space that they will need (5 x 3 x 1 1/2 ft) and that will be that.
WHO CARES?
Cinemaquette makes scaled Batman vehicle replicas that cost as much as $2,000+ and their edition runs are limited to 500 so it's probably a safe bet to assume that HT will make at least double that amount of Bats. If CM's Batwing sold out at $1,500, I'm sure HT's Bat will have no problem selling at least that many at their lower price point.
1000 I think
Between die hard Batman collectors and not so die hard people with a lot of money, I can see them shift those kind of numbers
My sense is the Tumblers probably (combining both releases) have about 5000 or so owners
This will clearly have a lot less but still get to 1000 IMO
