Hmm, tough choice.. It's hard to rank characters for me, but I think based on overall appearances and general character traits I'd say:

1. Cobra Commander
2. Storm Shadow
3. Baroness
4. Destro
5. Zartan

Loving everything about the teaser, even the brown belts for her armor. It looks more like they were black, and the leather dye has faded with time spent in the field. Gives her armor a lived-in look.

Except that The Baroness is rich, and she always struck me as the type that would want her outfit looking the very best, just like any other really rich woman into high fashion. I can see he telling her subordinates to get her a new piece or equipment after it is damaged and to make it absolutely perfect, or else!

taking this a little too serious perhaps??

The figure looks great! don't turn this into a "Hot Toys" thread where all people do is complain, nitpick about the most littlest things.

Tbh, the suit was probably originally "all black" and without cool details to save production costs on the 3.75" figure. This isn't a 3 buck action figure, I'm all for making great details as long as they keep the Baroness' look. Besides, it could be worse and they could have done her in her original suit that looked like the female counterpart of CC.

I know huh?
God I hate it when people on the internet tell me I'm wrong.

She's a seasoned combat vet too, and anyone who is tends to have a set of gear they love, and as someone who has worn armor with leather straps, let me tell you, new leather sucks. You want worn in, soft, used leather.

She's rich, she is heirestocracy, so she is likely big on comfort. Ergo, she would likely keep the armor polished and new looking, but the leather is going to be worn in, and oiled, and comfortable.

Man I gave that waaaay too much thought.

I think if they thought that brown straps would have made for a cooler figure, they would have painted them brown. They wanted her to have a monochrome look. It sort of looks like an armored catsuit. The all black look is sharp. Look at all of the cars there are that are all blacked out. They could paint them any color they want, but they go all black, because it is neat, not because it is cheaper.
Also, these straps look like they were always brown, and not just worn off black ones. Police officers wear black leather belts every day, and they stay black.
These straps are brown just to make the figure look distinct from the other one, and perhaps from the PF.
I am not a fan of making things different just to make them different. It is capricious to do so.

Leather can be redyed, and I think that the Baroness would hire people to wear her back up armor for her to break it in so it would be ready, and then have everything redyed and oiled as needed. I see her as a perfectionist, intolerant woman with high standards in every area, to whom cost is no object.

If this was Lady Jaye, I would agree with you, but this is The Baroness.

Meh, she's not really the perfectionist. at least, not in the comics, and that's what matters :D

Additionally, it is worth noting that she gave almost all her money to Cobra to help fund the hunt for her brother's killer. :lol

Ummm, I think it looks like aged oiled leather, I never said it looked like an old police belt. :cuckoo:

My assertion from the start was the brown pops nicely on the all black figure, this has nothing to do with if black looks cool on cars. :dunno All the stuff you're posting about her slaves wearing her amor, yadda yadda is just your imagination and its not supported in her character shown in the comic at all.
