You're also enlarging it twice the size of what it would be, which obviously given the scale, wouldn't look as good, but it does need to be fixed.

I really Didn't like the suit when i first saw it, but after playing the Game its grown on me a little but, now i just have to see the movie tommorow to see if the onscreen suit grows on me, then i might considering pre-ordering this.

They still need to darkern the suit, looks way too shiny and almost rubber texture. Those close up headshots make his head look almost plastic, its not is it? Blackouts shop looks perfect apart from headsize i'd pre-order in a second if it looked like that.

With all the gripes im leaning towards pre-ordering anyway as i only have black suit spiderman from raimi's films and want a red and blue spidey as i missed out on the raimi version with getting into the hobby late.

Although I liked the film and want this figure, I am bothered by some of the issue mentioned, especially the colouration. The lack of a loose mask and backpack is pretty weak too.

Perhaps they'll be added later as an exclusive or something. Its still a while before the figure is released. If enough request it, maybe it'll happen.

Easy pass for me. Not a fan of the new costume and the figure is too skinny. It's actually made me appreciate the raimi costume more. So much so that I placed my order for the black costume a few days ago.

The neck is bugging the heck out of me. Why didn't they just have it a part of the costume like the other spider-man figures. The picture at the top of this page just looks rediculous. I am really dissapointed since the film was soooooooo good.

I'm sure it'll end up looking alot better but it was made that way cause it comes with 2 sculpts.

Watching this in 2 hours tine, i want to say that if i like the film then i might be tempted, but i don't think that will make any difference, i'm just not feeling this figure at all and i really wanted to because i love the ASM costume

I think i would have preferred it if the mask and neck were all seen in like SM3 spidey, but then i understand that it needs to be seperate to allow the AG sculpt to go on. I wouldn't mind civvie clothed peter parker though

What is that outfit made out of? After getting stung with a overly tight outfit from my WWII Cap, I'm more leery of buying figures where the outfits look restrictive. This figure has got to be able to hold a good pose. I don't want him if he can only just stand there. That and they need to make his lenses silver. That yellow may be on some of the advertising, but it never shows up in the movie. The figure needs to be screen accurate.

Also, ANY related product out there, from Hasbro to Diamon Select, cleary use the YELLOW lenses, so don´t blame Hot Toys for given us a SCREEN ACCURATE figure.

Also, the thin body is just perfect. And, for the first time ever, I´m really thinking on show this figure maskless.

I bet HT hot the spot with Garfield likeness.

Correct! Zach Oat, the marketing supervisor for Diamond Select Toys, confirmed that they were given specific color notes for the eyes on their products as well.

Blame Marvel Studios if you don't like the yellow/gold eyes, but there is a chance HT will tone it down a bit.

At least that minimate has a goldish metallic look to his eyes. HT's just look like amber turn signals to me. They'll probably tweak it before release though.

I think the shine of the suit was accurate to that in the film, and it seems to me that it has that dirty/darker tone to it only after the battle with Lizard.
