I remember one member here said the Gantry has a lot of poseability, but very delicate.

That is accurate. The joins are tight, and the plastic is very light weight and feels brittle. I haven't heard of anyone breaking anything, but I am sure it will happen. I know some stuff has broken on my Tumbler over time as well.

You would like to think that items costing this much would have a bit of durability to them.

I really love the gantry - incredibly detailed and a lot of fun to pose and photograph. It's definitely a bit delicate but not that fragile, at least for me. The arms have a lot of articulation and can be a little stiff but they're pretty solidly built and shouldn't break as long you're careful; same as any other high-end collectible.

A must have for any Iron Man fan. I'm glad I ordered it.

There's very little out there that is expensive and you don't have to baby it. Common sense can indicate what you can and can't do with HT figures. These are collectibles and not action figures, I expect to treat them with more care and I've never had any breakage on anything.

I play with everything I own. Should see me put on a Hero helmet and walk around (even killed a dog going after my chickens with a Prop Spear, owner was not happy about it). Ok, say it. Still with what you pay for a item. You should be able to do things with it. If not, then the under $10 at Target items works wonders (ya play with those also).

You are a disturbing individual...

Yup I am... They watched as their dogs was killing my chickens (new people). They really did not think it was funny after. You don't kill someone livestock around here. I just glad I did not bring out the air-soft gun I had (working prop, well base of a prop).

I'm from Oklahoma, I know the rules about dogs and livestock. But a prop spear? Did you run them down and spear them?? A gun seems more humane... Just my 2 cents.

To get outside you go though my movie theater/movie room. My house is now one big toy/prop room (ex left, talk about having extra cash).

We where in the room going to watch a movie and heard my lap chickens making the death sound (I raised those chickens and they where my pets not to be eaten). I looked outside and seen this dog with my girl having a good time. I have a I am big into predator and there is a 1/1 by the door. I got the spear, ran out and spear it. My friend put the air charge in the m134 vulcan air soft gun and the other 4 dogs never made it over the fence. SWAT was called.

If we where not in that room yes I would have pickup a real gun, in my own little way I did wish my video would have tape it.I have video all over home house and outside, it was in a spot where there was no video. The dogs killing the chickens was.

I really like those chickens. The spared dog took a bit to die.

Oooh. That makes a lot more sense. I thought you simply wanted to try out your prop spear.

That being said... shame on you. I don't know where you're from, but it must not be from the "South". We carry at least one gun on our hip here. :nana:

The spear no, the mini gun well it was something. The dogs did not die till AC came and put them down. The owners where none to pleased. $100 a chicken ($2,300) plus the cost of the spear. I really miss that chicken. She gave me a double yoke eggs every day.

I live in Calif. I still have a Lic, etc but there are no firearms in my home. I sold many guns, but once my daughter with Autism came to live with me. I moved all of them out of the house. When I do work that I need a gun for I go over to my partners house and get one.

on topic, I have fox coming. It will ship today. I am paying off my GF Yoda hut also today (I was going to buy her the band guys guys but I have the Luke that goes with it for her bday next month), and order WM all shipped today. Items I wanted. Those points added to what I have. It will cost me under $100 plus tax and shipping.

Once you used the points on anything you don't get the points on new items. So I try to get it as close to 100% as I can. If I wait till Oct then it will be more like $50 plus shipping and tax (ok a little more still).

Hey guys! Need some help!

I got the Gantry w Mark IV recently. I noticed that Dummy (not sure if it's the right name for the bonus arm that comes with the Mark IV) had one very obvious loose wire. The extinguisher is on one end of the wire and the other end is just loose and open, dangling in mid-air and not connecting anywhere. Is this normal?

Thanks! :)

I don't know if it's normal or not, but I can confirm mine is the exact same way.
