very cool, but I'm assuming you'll have to sacrifice a MK IV in the process to get those mid torso pieces.

Also they should have had Tony in a Tux to replicate the opening scene in IM 2

HT should've given us those armor parts. Pose options are pretty limited without them.

This would have been the best opportunity to release a Tony Stark figure, and yeah, the separate armor pieces would have been perfect as well.

I am kinda leaning that way simply because the Gantry isnt that important to the IM2 film it's something HT are bringing out to milk the license (awesome though it is)

You can't go wrong with either choice -- they will all have awesome shelf presence whatever you chose. I'm getting the the gantry + IV and it's brief appearance in the movie doesn't really have much to do with me wanting it. It's just too cool to pass up.

Still looking for someone who'd consider selling their existing Mk.IV, in order to buy the pretty Gantry+Mk.IV set.

Alternatively, if someone is looking to only get Gantry+Dummy, please let me know. I'd consider getting the Gantry+Mk.IV set just to keep the (albeit stripped-down) Mk.IV, and sell off the Gantry+Dummy (it'll be cheaper than getting the Gantry by itself, and you'll be getting Dummy with it as well).
