Overall, I feel that they're taking care of you guys. I think it would be much worse if they denied the return.

I am happy with how they delt with me. I also have no problem with the fact that they took back the reward points I would have earned. Since I returned it I did not earn it.

It sucks that there was issues. My only reason for the return is I was not sure if I was going to keep this. With the PF of R2 and 3PO sas well as the Hulk maquette coming down the road I was pretty sure I was going to sell this. If I knew it was a piece that I would keep forever then I would have kept it. None of the issues it was having would show.

But I am a bigger Hulk and Star Wars fan then a Terminator fan so he had to be returned due to the issues.

Thanks. That's weird. Even if it was February, that was still over 30 days. I wonder if you maybe got your request in earlier, before they realized how pervasive this was, and now they are being a bit deluged with requests and are trying to cut their losses.

If they want me to pay return shipping plus take out the original shipping cost I paid, then that would really blow.

Am i the only one having problem receiving a damaged reg head ,2 shipments exactly same problem

Well, Sideshow customer service just ignored my comments, and are still requiring me to foot the bill on the refund. On principle, I'm not really happy right now with Sideshow.

I can't say I blame you, Sam. Although I didn't even bother with the whole fussing with customer service I just decided that this will probably be my last Sideshow product. I'm a big fan of PF's but let's face it, they aren't that great anymore. And if you want an awesome 1/4 scale collectible, there are two very hungry companies fighting for that market right now.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. Sideshow has not really advanced the quality of their PFs in several years. Non human characters for the most part are nice, but they continue to struggle with their human characters, especially when it comes to realism and the paint apps. When you've got other companies excelling in that department while you are standing still, how can you expect to compete? The one piece expected to change the way PFs are made we are still waiting on, what after two years of its preorder? Not a good sign.

This is a good-looking PF, ruined by either a poor choice of material or paint apps, or both. A real shame.

In all fairness Trevor Grove is 2/2 with Arnold sculpts. It's their paint apps that lack imo. Even their outfits work and are impressive most the time.

Who is the other company??

Just got my first PF and first Terminator addition to my humble HT collection :yess:
Really love this statue and cant take my eyes off it, pose & likness r just great. Thanks for the warning regarding the jacket I placed balck clothes between the neck & arms hopfully this will take care of it.

Cant wait to get my next PF: Jessica Rabbit :monkey3

Sorry this questions is a little OT but didn't want to start a new thread. If I use a coupon code to order something from Sideshow does that mean I don't get the reward points? I'm sure I read this somewhere. I'm guessing the points are worth more than a $10-$15 coupon?

Yeah, I know that Sideshow can't compete in the paint apps department with HT or Enterbay (though when they are on, they are quite good), but I think Trevor Grove is as good as any other sculptor in the industry, and I really love the sculpt on this specific statue. Too bad things have turned out the way they have. More than anything though, I'm really disappointed with Sideshow's customer service here. QC stuff I've been able to accept (even though its been pretty pervasive--I've had to send as many Sideshow items back for replacement last year as I haven't had to, which is a first), because I always felt it was no risk. If Sideshow screwed up, I could get a replacement or refund, no problem. That's always been one of Sideshow's strongest points to me. Hot Toys sucks in that area, for instance. But now, they're losing me in that department. Anyway, I don't mean to keep harping on this. I'm just really. . .disappointed.

Not usually, no. You have to pick one at the expense of the other.

That's not good... I checked mine and the collar isn't sticking, so it might be an isolated issue. I'm going to put a little bit of that protective plastic you get with HT figures between the collar and neck just to be sure, though.
