Just got in, amazing film, the worrying thing was though that on the drive back I was already planning which Avengers Hot Toys figure will go on what shelf in my detolf :lol

Really really REALLY looking forward to see the Hulk and Mark VII figures now....

I was right; I do want every figure.

Thor and Hulk are my top priority to start with.

ME TOO.

The last Iron Man I bought was the very first Mark III and while that is horrendously outdated by now, I'll find better joy in getting the two characters that impressed me the most in this film.

I just can't wait to see how Hot Toys will do with Hulk. Visible joints or rubber body? Or the same rubber material used on the Batman keaton figure? :dunno

I hope they don't do rubber. Just too much risk for stuff going wrong with the rubber body.

I still want my Hulk to look the same even 5-10 years from now.

I know what you mean but the rubber on the Batman Keaton figure is different... almost like PVC or something. But as someone else said somewhere, silicone might be an option.

I'm with the camp that doesn't mind visible joints on a sixth scale Hulk. If I wanted a non-visible jointed Hulk, I rather just get a PF statue of him. Regardless of what type of rubber is used, there is always a risk of detoriation in its lifespan due to oxidation and/or even light.

Aye, I dont think the joints will even be all that noticeable, I mean they're not on the Predator bodies and I dont think they're even that bad on the Jake Sully figure and Hulk's skin colour is going to be a lot darker than that.

No chance whatsoever it'll be a rubber body imo :lecture

Cant wait to see the scale of him..... :thud: :yess:

With battle damaged parts?

To create the scene where
Spoiler Spoiler:

:lol

That part was awesome! Have to say out of all the characters I absolutely loved Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye.

I am a little worried as to how HT will tackle Hulk though

I can't wait to get a display together for these :rock

I understand, I don't want that either, but at the same time, I can't see visible joints looking good on this guy's big arms and muscles... it will just look awful. Look at all of those muscles and then imagine the visible joints when you turn the arms and twist them.

I'd go for a premium format if it was in 1/6 scale. But the argument that people should get statues if they want no visible joints is tiresome. I don't buy these expensive and fragile figures to play with them, I buy them to display them and have something that looks like the characters they are supposed resemble. Only that these figures have the ability to change poses, that requires articulation, but does not automatically mean they must have visible articulation joints. They are high-end collectibles for display. I wouldn't want to display or pay 200+ USD for something that didn't look like what it was supposed to resemble...

I don't think Hot Toys will use a rubber body on this figure because of the quality issues. But visible joints... I can't see it how it will look good with the muscles.. But hopefully Hot Toys can change my mind when they announce the figure because I really want a complete avengers team on my shelf! :monkey3
