I wouldn't say that mine has a bad smell, but it does have a very strong smell

A chemical smell that you would expect with rubber and plastic is normal (sort of like new-car smell)... but if it smells like butt or an a___ray you probably have an issue

But most figure when you first open them up have a strong smell of plastic; but that usually dissapates pretty fast. I know the Kane and Dallas figures (which had rubber suits) were particularly strong when I opened up the inner trays.

Like GB said, only plastic and rubber smell. It doesn't smell funky like @$$ or spoiled or anything like that.

Yeah, I think it's the rubber that smells. But it's very strong, it was like this since I bought him (it was used... ), I never bothered then about the smell, but now I found a similar smell (not as strong) on my Leonidas figure... So kinda worried because I don't remember my Leonidas figure smelling anything.
