yep, I agree. We just got an awesome statue in Jason pt 3 and while that new Freddy is awesome, the price was to much for me as well. Im ready for some new horror statues though. So no Pinhead or Leatherface in 2012...I wonder what else if anything does SS have instore for horror fans.

I'll keep my money and forgo joining the sheeple and kowtowing to unnecessary, unwarranted price hikes just because the product "looks cool." I don't even really dig the Nick Cage pose either. :lol

Try nothing, except for maybe another Dead piece, which I don't collect anyways. I still am VERY disappointed with the news about Pinhead. While a new Leatherface would be appealing, Myers and Pinhead were on my must-buy lists. But it doesn't look like either one of them is happening any time soon, if at all. Not Sideshow's fault if it's licensing issues, but they really know how to tear someone's heart out by showing a sneak peak of development then pulling the plug. Looks like a hole will remain in my collection for a modern horror piece for quite some time.

Reward points used on Freddy brought him down to the price he should have been to start with, unfortunately.

The rest I'll make up by flipping another Vampirella piece, I suppose. ;)

This is the one piece I've been saving my points for, and like others here, I've passed on stuff hoping to see Pinhead this year trying to stretch my pf budget as far as I can. I really hope Sc sorts this out quickly, and then gives us some more positive news on the progress.

Shame this was pushed back. Really hoping to see more come of this, Hellraiser is my favorite horror franchise, so I would love nothing more than a Pinhead PF.

Are you referring to Jason and Freddy? Was there any other hardcore horror characters I've missed other than Jason and freddy? I only been collecting SS for about 2 to 3 weeks. So I have no clue what horror PF statue came out.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the first two Hellraiser films.

I'm referring to Hellraiser 1 & 2.
There are now 2 Jason PF's, one for FVJ and one for Part III.
There are now 2 Freddy PF's one for FVJ and one on pre order for what looks like a hybrid of part 3 and 4.
Other modern horror PF's released so far are Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Ash from Evil Dead. All these statues had an EX. Hope that helps.

Wow thanks so much for the very useful info. As a new collector this helps so much. So looks like I a little late but not bad since I still have a chance to get freddy and Jason the non doll like ones.,then later on it will be the new releases can't wait!

I'm new to collecting as well, and I highly recommend buying the Jason Part 3 PF. I got the regular version and it's awesome. The EX looks great but wasn't worth the $$ to me. I bought mine off ebay for about $300 shipped.

If you are a customer on Sideshow's website, you can log into your account and look on the right hand side of the page for a "Product Archive" section where you can look at almost everything Sideshow has produced, other than the Classic Universal Monsters.
