Yep. The movie really is based on a true story. The end, and what's happening is totally on the money! :LOL

Maybe but I think I'll wait until its on hbo/starz to see. I already wasted money on ghost rider this year.

There is no way you can put Ghost Rider in the same league as Cabin. If you like something a little different, and you like horror and comedy, it's something you likely don't want to miss. Unless you don't like anything Whedon has done (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Serenity)

Went to see this last night and loved it!

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet but I kind of took a slightly different interpretation of the movie.

I did wonder if you could consider all horror movies that have passed are directly responsible because that of 'the director' and 'the puppeteers'

Could they be at the center of every horror? Has eveything that has gone so far been for the sacrificial good? Just a slightly different take I thought about.

Well, I'm just saying that I don't want to spend money on a moie I walk out going that wasn't use terrible. I like both genres so there is a chance I might like it and I like hemsworth so I'll catch it at somepoint for that reason. As far as whedon goes I don't feel one way or the other about him to be honest. I'm not in love with his work but I don't hate it either.

I will give it's multi-layered. I kind of see it as continuing the trend of "meta-movies" that are getting a lot of critical attention from professional movie critics but may not appeal to a mainstream movie-goer who is not so jaded. Had this movie been released 3 years ago, I think it would've been ground-breaking. It'll be interesting to see how it does in receipts but given the trailer I saw a few months back was a little misleading to make you think you were going to watch a horror movie, I'd expect a little backlash.

If you go to the movies just to be entertained and forget about RL for a couple of hours, it might not be for you. There were some funny moments but not any scary ones
Spoiler Spoiler:
It was intellectually stimulating but I can't say I had an emotional reaction to it, which is different from my experience of Joss's tv projects (with the exception of Dollhouse, which maybe not surprisingly has some similarities RE playing off free will vs predestination/divine or Big Brother manipulation).

I thought I'd be entertained like I was with the first one. Not so much is what happened.

I'm just busting your chops. Though I do like the sequel more than the first one, I still think it's the worst comic movie series going. (And yes that includes Elektra....at least it had Jennifer Garner in it)

Even though I have been critical of the movie, it's not awful like Ghost Rider 2. It's very well made, there are funny moments, and there are even really good horror moments. I think it comes down to how you feel about the twist, some like it, some don't, but I would recommend you seeing it because whatever you think, I don't think you will find it boring.

Just to mention..

It's all good. Jennifer Garner is easy on the eyes no doubt.

I'll catch it at somepoint just to see what all the fuss is about.

To any of the Joss fans...were you excited when it showed the opening credits and Anya Colloff was credited? I was like..oooooh, the casting is gonna be perfect!!

I didn't notice that (or even know who that is until I just IMDB'd her) but I was pleased to see Tom Lenk. He was one of the best things about the last couple of Buffy seasons.

Change of plans. Will see it tomorrow.

For now, I'll just watch a marathon of Ancient Aliens starting with "The Greys." :rock :rock

Best horror movie ever made. I was expecting to like this film, but not LOVE it. Was very Buffy-esque in a way and I couldn't stop laughing. Although the rest of the audience wasn't laughing until the end.
