That'd be sublime. The headsculpt and body shape are the biggest deals to me, but double cannons are a must. I hope he comes out in 1/4 first, since I know I'll be shooting for the larger version in the end. I may not like HT's first attempt (nor do I love the design; it's okay though), but I'll admit the character is worth doing big. He'll be packed with accessories, which means plenty of posing options. These 1/4 Preds... mmm, eye-catching grails, no doubt about it.

It'd be nice if they released each Predator in 1/6 and 1/4 at the same time..that way, there wouldn't be a gap in quality and it should be easier for people to make a decision...

That's all I'm saying folks.
Pack Wolf full of accessories, give us a good base, backdrop, and some swappable parts.

He's a great candidate to be spoiled like that. :D

That'd be cool. Sculpt the prototype in 1/4, make the ES on the 1/4 figures smaller (since it's clear less people will buy those), then simply scale down the sculpt to create the 1/6 versions. Probably the best way to keep costs down.

Then again, if they're sculpting P2 in 1/6 (and they end up making him in 1/4 later on), this plan is pretty much kaput.

Dont you think details wise, its better to sculpt 1/6 first. Put in all the details on the lil one and then upscale the sculpt.

For the first HT 1/4 Pred the details might be better on the 1/6 but I hope im proven wrong.
Not to mention inaccuracies will be easier to see in 1/4.

I think Enterbay did pretty well on the T2 T-800, considering it was their first 1/4 figure. A few small issues with the body, but even their 1/6 figures have problematic bods sometimes. I think HT is more likely to get it right out of the gate (or at least damn close to it).

From a customer's standpoint, this would be ideal. I hope they did this too.

From HT's business standpoint, I don't think we'll ever see this. The sales of one figure will eat into the sales of the other. Most people wouldn't buy both at the same time, but if released a year or two apart, it's more likely we would buy each one.

Knowing HT I don't think 1/4 will be really 1/4 but around 1/4.9ish. Sorry I live in Australia, don't know the scales in the US.

I'm probably not going to buy 1/4 figures of the predators. I'm sure they are gonna look awesome, but I don't have the space, I don't want the figures in my collection to be out of scale and the prices of these figures are going to be ridiculous.

People say 700 dollars, that sounds about right, considering the price for the Iron Monger. But the Neca 1/4 predator figures are like what, 70 bucks? I mean, those look great too in my opinion, if Hot Toys want to sell their predator figures for 500-700 dollars they better look ten times better than the Neca predators!

Anything above $400 for the 1/4 Predators and I will not be buying them.

I rather stick with Premium Format figures from other licenses for an average price of $350 each.
