OK, I called BBTS myself... imagine that....

Customer Service said they expect the figure to arrive next week.

An alert email will be sent when the figure arrives and your credit card is to be charged, then a second notification when it begins the shipping process.

I haven't seen this come up before, but my belt is missing a capsule...

Trying to determine if it happened while I was coating the inside of mine, or if it's a QC thing. I'm leaning towards QC, only because the rest of the capsules seem to be on there really well.

Has anyone else experienced a missing belt capsule?

That's kind of good news. Not that you lose a capsule, but that they're removable. Saw some people complaining they were too far apart. So can they be moved closer together or will it be unpainted underneath?

Yes you have two different types of material, a leather shoe and plastic chin guards. If someone can dig up those close up photos of the actual boots, you'll see the same contrast.

I was afraid of that. But if you really wanted to bring them closer together you could always repaint the belt.

Thought this was interesting. The reason why the used Nikes for Batmans boots.

"Can it be? Did Batman actually fight the Joker wearing 80s sport pumps? Believe it or not.., Yes. In 1989 Nike creative director for productive design Tinker Hatfield headed to London to build a pair of knee high bat-boots for Michael Keaton’s Batman (or 18 pairs to be precise). Basically they were black Nike’s with a boot on top. Batman ended in running shoes rather than heavy duty leather boots because WB had a deal with Nike who wanted-in on 1989′s biggest movie. Not wanting to have the Bat jump about the place in a Air Jordan tshirt, lead costume designer Bob Ringwood and his assistant Graham Crurchyard came upon a happy compromise whereby Nike would provide the Bat-sneakers. Check out Graham Cruchyard’s explanation below..,

“Warners have this thing going with Nike, [they asked] can you use any of their sportswear? I talked to Bob (Ringwood) and he said well 80s sportswear isn’t going to fit in with our 1940s look. And then it just came to us. Why don’t they make the bat-boots? They made the bat-boots from scratch based on one of their cross-trainers at the time. Michael (Keaton) and the stunt guys absolutely loved them”

Did you receive a UPS Ship notification? Check your email. CSC doesn't send out notices I don't think. You can see if they charged/shipped your order or not in your account. Just check under your orders.

Nope, nothing UPS and I checked my CSC account and the order stills shows pending. I'm guessing they just haven't got to my order yet. I'll call them if nothing by the end of the week. I'm still excited for this one.

So if I ordered one from SS now, would they be shipping it out soon, or are they still waiting for me shipments. Trying to decide between hanging on to my BBTS preorder or spend the $20 more and get it from SS.

There are indentations on the belt, where each one goes, so slightly more than a repaint.

I spoke with Josh earlier at AE and he said that Bats should arrive this Friday or Monday at the latest and they plan to have shipped out by mid-week. Usually only a couple days with UPS to get to me, so I would hope to have by Friday next week (optimistically)

I spoke with them on Facebook this past Sunday and they said in 10 days (April 4th)...Man - either AE can't read a calendar or they are getting jerked around.

But hey - sooner is better - I'm not complaining

Hey I'm new to the boards and this will be my first Hot Toys Figure! I was just wondering if Corner Store Comics was a good site to order from? I have my Bats preordered from BBTS but its not in stock yet. For $3 more I can order it from CSC. Is there any advantage to ordering from either site or are they both good and reliable? Thanks!

Still waiting for my notice from CSC unless it was shipped without a notification email.

I also ordered from them. My credit card was charged on Monday so I sent an email to customer service today. They always reply the same day:

Hi there!

The Batmans have arrived, and we've begun authorizing cards. We have close to 200 orders to ship, so it will take several days to finish getting them packed, labeled and shipped.
The order will change to "Shipped" status once after the warehouse team ships it out.
