I really love the custom cape u made as well. Do u by any chance make any extra to sell?? If so, I'll definitely buy one from u.

I'm glad you like it, and yes I have an extra one. Feel free to email me at [email protected]. We can discuss more. Or if you want to see more picture, check out the custom/interest section, you should be able to see a few of our(Crystal and I) work. I'll sent you a link when I get home. Currently texting you with my phone, lol

Juz a quick pic of

I wondered if some of you with way, way more experience collecting than I have could offer some suggestions.

The DX02 was my first HT purchase. He's handled very, very infrequently on display on my son's bookcase. Anyway, he wanted me to change his pose. In doing so, the top half of the rubber suit separated from the bottom or pants section. I can see the dried yellowish glue spot.

My question is what type of adhesive can safely be use to repair the suit? There is thankfully no tearing, just the separation due to, I suspect, dried out glue/adhesive.

Thanks for any advice.

J

Theres no need to put any adhesive, technically there is no issue, and trying any adhesive we are not sure about may cause damage to the suit. A Lot of members have the torso rubber part unglued from the rubber pants part...

I had no idea it was glued in the first place. In the back or the front? I say just leave it.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS DX 02 - TDK- BATMAN full spec and pics

This is a common separation. Not a big deal. I don't know why they even glued the parts together.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS DX 02 - TDK- BATMAN full spec and pics

Hey guys I just wondering If you guys know where I could get a DX 02 Batman at a reasonable price meaning between $300 and $400. Everything on Ebay is usually $650 or more, is that the usual scalp price or just because people are already trying to cash in on TDKR hype that's starting to build? If I can't find anything by June we have a big comic book convention in Charlotte,NC called Hero-con and I'm hoping to find one there. Also wondering If maybe I should just be patient because they will do and even better Bale DX for TDKR? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My two cents is that you wait for TDKR. The prices on ebay for DX 02 batman will not fall while the third installment has yet to be released. For $650, its a bomb considering that you can order the new tumbler for that price.
But its going to be a hell of a wait. Probably another year........:(

Yeah I can wait unless I find one at a CON for $400 or under. I feel that Hot Toys will probably do a another nice Bale Batman for the last installment. Until then My Keaton Batman will have to keep me Company whenever the hell here gets here....March my ass! :slap

At least you have the Keaton Batman. I think it looks more bad ass than the DX 02. Here in Singapore, we are still waiting for the stock to arrive. Maybe only in May................So lucky you yeah

I had the same problem:

I used this adhesive, which worked perfectly:

I bought is specifically for this task, but I have since used it to adjust/re-glue the knee pads on the Begins figure. The glue is great for rubber because it stays pliable rather than getting all crispy.

Just put a dab on and hold in place till dry:

Why not just put that in your signature rather than typing it out every post? :huh

From personal experience I can say that when they are not glued in place the pants fall a bit, giving him a droopy-drawers look.

I definitely recommend re-gluing them. :peace
