Question, I know these battle droids are supposed to have magnets in there feet so the can connect to the stap pod thing, but I just tried see if they really are magnetic and nothing seems to work. I tried paperclips, my fridge, and various other items I know magnets work with, with no luck, anyone else try?

Just got mine today off of eBay for $60.00 shipped. Really cool fig. Very tight joints.
Question: are the shoulders articulated? I can't seem to swivel them forward or back. Any suggestions?
Also, is there no way to attach the blaster to the backpack while in sleep mode?

Congrats on getting the battle droid! The blaster does not attach to the pack. A little detail Sideshow missed. The shoulders should rotate. I have not heard of any issues with that yet. Keep working to get them loose.

Also...what number is on the pack of your BD?

Mines like UUIC8 or UUK8. The "I" and the "C" are close together like a "K".

Yeah in the movies I think the commanders always had the mini antennae bolt on, but the clone wars series shows them with packs. Sideshow had them with packs at the SDCC, but it could be just a prototype thing.

Sideshow had them with the back pack, but they noticed sometime during the show and switched the commanders to their antenna. If you look there's a small hole on the droids back that is for the commander's antenna. Sideshow did this so they don't have to modify the figure's body to accommodate different ranks. They can use the same mold for any droid.

Ahhhh, I did see that hole - I assume the antenna are not retractable - just a one piece extended clip on, correct?

It has been quite some time since I have taken and posted pics. I am hoping to be able to do it a little more, now.

I know this one is really grainy, but for some reason, I kind of liked the effect. No, it was not intentional.
