Hot Toys 1/6 Tumbler/Batpod Batman

I cant wait to have this, it looks amazing. I plan to use a couple Besta shelfs that I modify to display this and the Tumbler. I really hope they re-release the Batpod as well.

I want this vehicle. Except, damn, almost 500 is alot for a toy. And it's huge. I know what everyone will say, "Buy it!". I tried placing the order yesterday and wussed out because of the price. The figures, I'm good with paying for. I PO'd for the Iron Monger, but for some reason I'm having reservations about this bad boy.

some suspension pieces for the front end
behind the wheels and the holes of the inside fender..

Brake lines

steering rod

i don't know exactly what these are but I might be adding these..

plate where the pistons are attached

change the exhaust tips to a much thinner material

and finally the BD finish..well more of a worn finish..

Nice! Good luck to you man. I've got one of the first-run Tumblers and you're going to have to do some major deconstruction to get behind those front wheels. Make sure you get lots of spare hobby-sized screws that match all the different kinds you take out...not just because you might lose one or two, but some of them are in there so tightly that you might strip them taking them out.

That is quite an eye for details! The only things I noticed that you didn't mention are the missing spoke holes on the front wheels of the HT Tumbler (and Batpod for that matter) and the incorrectly shaped rear wheels (more donut-tube shaped on the real car with curved sidewalls, more cylindrical on HT)

actually..i have those in mind already I even pm A-dev for the rear tire measurements cause I saw some RC tires that matches the stock tires but they are a bit small ..the spoke on the wheels depends on how thick the plastic is..even thinking of making the calipers/brake setup inside the wheels...

This is what I am going to do on mine too especially the windscreen which is not right on the HT. I never come across any RC tires good for the rear tho. The nearest I came across is all plastic from a toy truck. Kindly PM me if you ever come across something really close. Thanks in advance!

Be most happy to! No, not the colour of the windscreen but the angle on both the front windscreens is hardly visible on the final product. Its there on the box photo tho. I guess they went backward during production for this one. My Tumbler is back in the box and I haven't open it in a while but I recall the entire front windscreen was a wee bit too flat.

I am using ABS plastic sheets and metal tubings. I am not going the whole 9 yards for this tho. Just the detailings like the photos you attached and the rear area where the gas tanks are.

Damn, that RC tires sure look the part but too bad its not the right size!!! I am bothered by the HT rubbers they used for the tires. Mine was already sticky by the time I bought it and it would have been far better if they make this solid rubber instead of soft and thin wrapped onto something plastic in the final item.

The rubber they used for the tires, not the whole tire/wheel itself.

As mentioned, I haven't open the box for a long while now but as far as I can remember. No, that piece is solid plastic!
