New Disney Star Wars figures.

I don't know what it was about the "Medium Figs" but when I saw them, for some reason they actually looked a little bigger than the estimated sizes.

$100 seems like a lot, but they look really good in person.

Wish you didn't say that. I'm dying to see these in person. I just know that if I did, it would be a done deal.

I'm looking at either Donald as a Stormtrooper or as Maul. I REALLY like Mickey but IF this is a new line of medium sized figures, I might just wait until the next wave when Mickey sports a more Jedi-like appearance.

I try to offer a disservice to the community. On the bright side, since it didn't seem like you'd need much arm twisting, if you do pull the trigger you will get some good looking pieces.

But I'd be after the same two you are, the Donalds, or at least one of the two.

I'm very doubtful about the sizing.

Looking at the huge bases which takes up almost half of the height, that must mean the figures are only 6" ... urgh.

Can someone post actual pics with comparison to big fig or some action figure for scale, appreciate it ?

I think that the Donald Maul figure is a bobble-head. I picked up one last X-Mas at WDW (as well as a Mickey as Anakin) and they were about the same price. For bobble heads, their heads aren't that enlarged. They look nearly scaled with the rest of the figure.

Yeah, that's why I got it either way, even if it did turn out to be a bobble. I'm not big into bobbleheads, but the fact that his head was pretty much in scale was much appreciated.

Congrats on going to Star Wars Weekends this year, Apone! I went back in 2005 on the weekend when Revenge of the Sith opened (and the weekend following) and had a blast. Would love to go back again some day.

I'm wondering if they will continue that "Medium Fig" line they started last year. I ended up getting both Donald as Darth Maul and Stormtrooper and Mickey as Luke X-Wing. I saved 10% on the entire purchase using my Disney Visa card.

Looks like they announced a couple of new Disney Figures in time for their Star Wars Weekends celebration. It was announced on the Disney Parks Blog:

I wonder if the Donald Duck as Savage Oppress and as Darth Maul (with new cloth robe) will be a two pack? And that Rizzo as Yoda is really cute.

I'll be there for part of SWW, but don't see myself picking up any of this stuff.

Maybe Rizzo, since that's awesome, but other than that nothing really piqued my interest.

So far there has been no word... not a good sign.

Perhaps they didn't sell as well as the Big Figs. I liked them, though. I bought three of them.
