Boarding Party was at Disneyland this past weekend. Glad I was able to get mine.

And here's the whole Original Trilogy Disney Star Wars gang:

Well... YES.

There's:

-Jedi Mickey
-Darth Maul Donald
-Goofy Chewbacca
-Mickey Anakin
-Minnie Queen Amidala
-Donald frozen in Carbonite
-Dagobah Mickey w/ Yoda in back pack
-Goofy Jar Jar Binks

...and I'm drawing a blank if there are any more.

Sorry, but where can you find the big fig????

Thanks
:panic::panic:

The Disney theme parks sell them. Call 1-800-362-4536 and see if the person on the line can tell you what's available and how much they are. That's the number to Disney Deliverears, basically the Disney Parks shopping number. They ship to most places.

I may be wrong, but I think these figures came out in three waves (annually for Star Wars Weekends) of four limited edition (600?) Big Figs each. Jedi Mickey has an open edition and it not considered to be part of these waves. I think he is still currently available at the parks. They also came out with:

Mickey as Luke X-Wing
Goofy as Darth Vader (without pants)
Minnie as Leia from A New Hope
Donald Duck as a Stormtrooper

and Minnie as Slave Leia.

From what I understand, they will be no longer making any more Star Wars themed Big Figs. :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Also, FYI, the Minnie as Amidala and Goofy as Chewbacca are currently listed on Amazon. Disney Deliverears may only have the Jedi Mickey. But eBay is still the best place to get these guys... some way below the original asking price. Especially Goofy as Jar Jar.

One day I would love to get Mickey as Anakin. I REALLY regret passing on him. :gah: :gah: :gah:

Good information!

Yah, certainly doesn't help to search ebay and amazon as well as call Disney to see what's left over.

I have all 13 Star Wars Big Figs that have been made. You are correct. There is the common Jedi Mickey and there were 3 sets of 4 each over 3 years of Star Wars Weekends. They were sold for Star Wars Weekends in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2010 there was no Big Figs offered at Star Wars Weekends and I heard that they would not be making anymore but that could change if demand goes up.

WOW... all thirteen!!! That is amazing! I would love to see a group shot of them. That is IF you can get them in one picture. Maybe a group shot of each wave would be fun!

I'm hoping that with the interest in the Clone Wars series rising, that Disney will return with a Clone Wars themed Big Figs wave.

Can you imagine Goofy as Cad Bane? Or Daisy Duck as Aurra Sing? Maybe Stitch as General Grievous? :yess::yess::yess:

There has got to be a Big Fig of Stitch as either the Emperor or as Yoda! That would be an instant classic!!! :clap:clap:clap

As for your Jedi Mickey, did you get one with a limited edition backstamp on the base? I heard that the first edition of the piece had some sort of a "DefendEARS of the Galaxy" logo as a backstamp to commorate it's initial release.

I'm also hoping that some of the past Big Figs might get the WDCC treatment like Jedi Mickey did this past fall. Pipe dream, I know.

I really like your idea of Clone Wars style Big Figs. That just might be the thing to bring them back since the Clone Wars show is so popular. Unfortunately it will not happen in 2011. At Star Wars Celebration, I went to a panel where they introduced the new Disney Star Wars items for 2011 and there will be no big figs in 2011.

As for the WDCC Jedi Mickey? Did you get it? I did and I think its very nice. I think they did a great job with the texture of the Jedi Cloak. I hope it sold well and that they will do more. Unfortunately, the WDCC line is near death right now with only a trickle of new pieces coming out. I have every WDCC piece and enjoyed the years when many elaborate pieces came out. Now I'm just happy to get a Jedi Mickey!

My Big Figs are on top of 10 foot high shelves in my Lofts so the best I can do is a group shot from the second floor. When I get there next week I'll take a group shot and hopefully a few smaller groups for better close ups.

Yeah, I did get the Jedi Mickey. I posted pictures of him in the WDCC thread of this forum... along with most of my collection. I think I like him better than the Big Fig, but I think I'm just enjoying the size and ease of display.

My WDCC collection is one of my favorite collections that both my wife and I share. This year we added to our collection Jedi Mickey, the new King Louie, Mr. Toad as Blue Boy and the Sword in the Stone park replica. Most of my new acquisitions over the past few years have been through the Disney Movie Rewards program. If there is anyone out there who doesn't use their Movie Reward points please PM me. :wink1:

The only Big Figs we have are King Louie and Mr. Toad (note the trend) but would like a few more down the road.

It's sad to hear that WDCC is hanging on a thread. I always look forward to more announcements. I've been checking back at the "Duckman" web site for the winter announcements but there haven't been any. :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

I've always thought that WDCC piece with Mr. Toad and Cyril Proudbottom would have been spectacular.

I also have the Mr. Toad big fig and all the WDCC Toads. But my favorite Toad item is my original Disney World Mr. Toad ride vehicle. Here is a photo of it. To the left of it there is a canvas painting of Toad Hall. By the way, this loft I've named Toad Hall in honor of the vehicle. This is an older photo when I was putting the loft together. I now have the big fig of Mr. Toad on a podium between the Toad Hall canvas and the Toad vehicle. The shelves to the left of vehicle are 10 feet tall and on top of those is where the Star Wars Big Figs are now.

"Egads! What have I been missing...."

VERY cool car you got there. It's strange to see it in yellow. And that Toad Hall painting is just stunning.

My WDCC holy grail is the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride piece. I just can't talk my wife into spending $500+ for it. Strangely enough my kids need things like shoes and food. Who would have thought. :cuckoo: :cuckoo: :cuckoo:

That is the original paint of the vehicle. The vehicles in the Toad attraction at Disney World came in many different colors. When the Toad ride was taken out to put in the Pooh ride, some of these original vehicles were sold in auctions and other ways. I got it about six months ago on ebay from someone who got it direct from Disney World. Everything is original just as it was at Disney World: paint, seat cushions, tires, etc.

The WDCC Toad Ride Vehicle came out at the height of WDCC collecting. I got it at the 2002 Disneyana Convention. That was the Golden Age of WDCC collecting. There were so many new pieces each year and the Disneyana Conventions were wonderful. Good memories.

This is the photo of the Disney Star Wars big figs. They don't look really big because they sit above 10 foot tall shelves which make them look small by comparison but they really are big. And this photo is taken across the loft from the other side upstairs so it is a bit far away. Unfortunately on the far right of the photo the Chewy Goofy is cut out of the photo so there are only 12 in the photo and not the total 13.
