Not really...just give it a blow for around 5-10 seconds, give or take. That's usually what I do when I have trouble pulling out the wrist joints or whatever, provided the armour isn't glued onto the fabric suit or something.

If I had a damaged one, I'd be tempted to bite. But honestly, that price is a tad steep even with free shipping. The suit is worth some scratch but not that much to me...I'd bite at $20 bucks shipped.

Nice catch though! Thanks!

Be careful taking a clone with the vinyl body suit apart. Coloring from the suit came off on my fingers and now I have traces of it on the armor.

Figured this might be of help, if it hasn't already been posted:

Despite the fact that both links use the same picture and are from the same seller, they seem to be two seperate listings. Price isn't too bad either, considering they're shipping from HK.

It's kinda expensive - but I bought one from that ebay seller.

I will say he's a great seller and ships really fast. Got the suit in about a week from HK to California.

I had this happen as well. I got it off with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol.

I'll give that a try. Has anyone found a way to get the discoloration out of the rubber parts like that of the joint armor(elbows & knees)? This is a lot of work, but better than a discolored figure. If anyone wants an old vinyl suit to use as a pattern, I have at least one spare.

Has anyone noticed the discoloration coming from the other clones with vinyl under-suits? My Shocktrooper, Coruscant and 212th all look good, but the vinyl suits are looking a little off color-wise.

No, not on mine. None.

Would be terrible if this becomes an issue with other figures as well. Think it was the right decision not to take that replacement from SSC!!!!!

Ugh, maybe that's why they did change it; they saw that there Protos were changing too.

Wait, just thought of this; reviewing the suit again. The Red is only where the glued pieces are! The arms and legs where the slide on armor goes has none. So maybe it's a chemical reaction to SS's glue? Or maybe it's a chemical reaction from the ink, cause the suit looks like it has printed on stripes.

I've find suitable material to make these, now I just gotta get the time but I haven't abandoned this project. :)

Wow this sucks, just caught this chain, I will check on my Phase 1 today, I would suspect that humidity is playing a part on the various levels of red dust present. I bet dry areas are seeing less red dust than more humid ones, its like they are rusting.

The only thing I can add is that if you run a search on the Bay for '1/6 black body suit' you will get a cheaper solution that may work for the undersuit. It will not match the newer version, but I personally don't like the ribbed undersuits. Reminds me too much of a terry cloth leisure suit.

I wonder if we wait long enough, will the whole figure turn into red dust like in that 80's movie Night of the Comet?

This thread kinda went on its own thing before I could catch up, one questions of the Phase I Clones the only one on the "old" suit is the plain White clone correct?
