@Spanbauer- Awesome pics man! :rock Did you put the extra long foot pecs in? Just wondering, because I will be getting some in the mail soon from SSC and wanting to know if it is worth changing.

Great poses @Spanbauer. I love them.

Thanks guys! Firebird, I have not put in the extra long foot pegs, although my figure did include them in the box. He does look pretty short alongside other figures, but i thought his body proportions looked pretty good right out of the box so I've left them for now.

I was able to take a few more this morning, although it was pretty dark. I'll have a bunch more this weekend after I can finally spend some quality time with this figure in natural light.

BTW, I love the boot articulation he has, which you can see in this last photo! :yess:

Those are some more great pics of Cap. :clap Looking forward to seeing more pics later.

@Darkseed - Yeah, the shield displayed on the back is very awesome looking.

Just got mine and I'm pretty disappointed in some little issues.

Aside from his off-center A, his damn shield has nicks in it on the outer most edge. Some nicks on the backside too.

Is the handgun's magazine not removable? The damn nub just broke as I was trying to pull it out. It seems glued in there.

What about his machine gun, anything removable there? I noticed there is the eject mechanism, on the top, is it supposed to have any springs in it?

The weapons he comes with aren't state of the art, but if you want better versions they are easy to replace with Dragon or bbi versions you can find on eBay or from an etailer like war-toys or monkey depot. I gave my cap a pistol with a working slide and a Tommygun with better sculpting and a correct Kerr sling.
Don't have any suggestion for the nicked shield or off-kilter A. I was fortunate enough to have received a figure without those problems. Sorry so many people have the problem with the A on the helmet and the star on the chest, because this figure really does rock.

I was messing around with different poses this morning with Cap and have spent the last 30 - 40 minutes looking all over for the "S" clip for the shield to be carried on his back. Gave up on it and settled for a new pose not utilizing it. Went to put the box back together and in storage and the bottom box got caught on the top platic tray. THE EFFN TOP PLASTIC TRAY that hold the weapons and sheild:panic::gah:....... Oh, by the way that's where the "s" clip was - forgot to look there:rotfl.

I got my 2nd Cap today, I ordered it for my buddy and was going to give it to him if he quit smoking but the chump didn't so now I have a Cap I can battle damage.

You can touch up the edges of the shield with Tamiya Clear Red hobby paint.

It's actually not just a paint chip. I can feel that the surface there on the edge is raised, two little craggy bumps.

I guess I have to contact my seller for yet another replacement (now it'll be two in a row! My last one was a loose Jack).

I'm really curious about the pistol though. Is the magazine not supposed to be removable? I just find that weird... all of HT's pistols and handguns have had removeable ones.
