Expensive batty rubber..
A rich bouquet of paint and paper, with slight undertones of fake pleather.

Mmmmmm....:love

I can't wait to sniff him!

And I am sure the second half of that post will panic plently of chicken littles :lecture...:lol

Not too bad. More annoying is the top of the seam is visible from the front.

Minor complaint though compared to the overall quality of the figure

damn :slap

thanks for the photos though, great figure still :clap

Mine isn't like that PJW?, maybe you just need to push it in?

A few pics.. not futzed, i haven't even taken the paper off his torso. My first impressions (rubber concerns aside) is that this is the best HT figure I have ever seen. It's incredibly lifelike.
The cape is beautiful, don't worry about those badly futzed pics you have seen, I think it's pretty much perfect. There isn't a lot in the box but the details on the tiny accessories is amazing.

If I push it in harder at the top to minimise the seam it just pops out a little at the back. Not a big deal though

Thx Rory, was waitin' for pics with such lighting.
He truelllllly looks great, can't believe it's real...

I don't know what you did that others haven't, but this photo is the first time I've seen an in hand shot that shows the figure fully capturing the 89 look with the cape, bravo :clap

Thanks Maul,
I think people just aren't putting it one correctly, there is a little stitched seam around the neck of the cape which needs to aline with the rubber neck.
That way the shoulders of the cape fall naturally. I know it's probably a bit of new purchase hysteria, but I genuinely don't think I have been this impressed with a figure out of a box, obviously he is a hell of a lot simpler in construction than Sparrow, but the detail on it is just fantastic.

Bravo Hot Toys, now lets all hope they don't melt or something!

:lol

Thanks Riddick, honestly the figure is that good, all I did was put it on my desk and snapped.

I assumed and hoped it was just a matter of taking your time and that the early folks were just in a rush to get pics up, glad they did, but it seres everyone better to go slower and present the figure at its absolute best.

It's called "perspective", one of the foundations of photos and drawings. :lol

It's not perspective, they're talking about where the openin of the cape comes from under the cowl and bein picky that the two sides don't emerge from the same point like the movie, by like an 1/8 of an inch. Rory's futzes the cape far better than anyone so I say who cares.

Yeah the cape is awesome in my opinion, and because it's not actually attached it means you can just move it around. As I mentioned I haven't really futzed at all just pulled it down so it hangs. I reckon you could spend hours of fun just getting the dynamics of the cape right.
:)

just noticed something
your cape, at Bat logos, it's not parallel dude....the right side (from the picture) seems lower than left side
or is it mean that way?

Oh come on mate, it's just out of the box!

:lol

Oh, I see. I tho it was about the length of two sides of the cape with respect to the base. Although essentially the same tho but in reverse :lol:slap silly me.

Here!, happy now!:lol
