I picked up Galadriel.
It`s amazing how some of these can still come brand new.
She`s a pretty one.
I`m sad because I can`t afford to pick up any new ones for probably another month.
I do have Boromir on the way though.

This hobby is very addicting and quite expensive,but in the end its worth it..everytime i receive a new piece & unbox..it brings happiness and enjoyment

Your guys collections look great.
I seem to be leaning towards getting the good guys first.
I love the bad guys but they tend to be more pricey.
They will come though...eventually.

Those baddie-busts look amazing, I wish Sideshow would do some more awesome looking characters in Legendary scale.

I consider the SSW pieces to be the benchmark for the rest of the collection. Considering the prices that some can be had for, you'd be crazy not to collect it. I really can't think of a bad piece - some are underwhelming I guess, but I still prefer them to some of the SS diorama pieces. Like, for $600, I would try to get a SSW Sauron and King of the Dead versus going for the dioramas that feature those pieces. I have been impressed with all of the orcs too - even ones without a major role in the film are detailed, amazing pieces like the Orc Brute. Sam and Bill the Pony is one of the best out there, but comes at a steep price usually. Value pieces would be Saruman, King of the Dead, Gandalf on Shadowfax, Gothmog on Warg, etc. I would honestly part with my dioramas and LSB's before the SSW line. I even prefer some of the SSW pieces to the new maquettes, just because the simplicity of the pieces and the color tones feel more like a museum display than some of the glossier finishes of the more recent pieces. With that said, I still collect the new ones.

Boromir's been a tough one to find, but it is the one we most remember him by, outfit-wise. I still own all the SS/W statues, but if I had to choose among them, then the ones that stand out are The Balrog, and all the Riders.

But if i had to make a suggestion well one of my recent conquests is the Ring Wraith on Steed and its :eek and The Orc Warrior is awesome too had him for years and he still is one of my fav

I actually have the RWOS. It was my first every sideshow piece and how I discovered SS. I was on a dragon collecting forum when someone posted the link to the order page for it. The rest is history.
