I think I have it...if it's the one I'm thinking of. It's when he's in his true form right? Like when Frodo sees him when he puts the ring on.

I have this one and the mouth of sauron. These are the only two Weta busts I have.

Pretty happy about this showing up today. I can't believe how heavy it is.
What was the ES on this? Mine doesn't have any ES info on it or the number of it.

It was an open edition.

That's one of my fave SSW pieces as well, and if Sideshow ever decides to do a Saruman PF or maquette, the only other pose I can think of them using is the one where he is on top of Orthanc and sending the storm to stop the Fellowship at Caradhras. The pose with the palantir is pretty (I hate this overused word)...iconic.

I still think that the King of the Dead and the Haradrim with a Rohan sword through him are fantastic pieces for detail and can be picked up very cheap down the line.

Sold both of those about two weeks ago. KotD for € 65 and Haradrim for € 49. Too cheap for the amount of detail you get but I need every penny for Rivendell...

As for the original question: I saw some people recommending the Witch-king bust. But I'd recommend the statue if you can afford it. Worth every last penny.

That statue is just waaay too much money. I'll have to wait and hope that SS does a new one.

I'm shocked that this guy is an open edition. I thought they were all limited edition and when I was looking to get one way back when, he seemed to be more pricey then a lot of them.

I'm not bothered though that he's an open edition.

I can see why you're saving up for that rivendell enviro. I wish I had the spare cash to get that. It's crazy fantastic looking.
Hopefully the Open edition of that can be had a little cheaper down the road.

yeah, the statue is a great piece as well. i think i am partial to the wk bust out of all my other pieces because it was my first weta.

grats on the purchase, fremen. looks awesome!

Now go get yourself a cheap Grima Wormtongue!...They go beautifully together

I got this one from a fellow freak. I'm really amazed at how she looks in person. In pics, she doesn't really look like Liv to me but in person, does she ever look like her. Really happy to have this one.

Found a spot for him also.

Is Boromir pretty hard to get? I've been watching ebay the last couple of weeks but nothing.

Bilbos trolls, watcher in the in the water, Sam and Bill, orc archer. swordsmen, Cave Troll, Numeroean bust(thing kicks all kinds of butt!)

Bilbos TrollsÉÉ I don`t think I know which one that is. Sam and Bill I`d love to get. Pricey though.

Sam and Bill is incredible, I've had mine for years but he's getting boxed up soon. Time for hm to go to a new home me thinks.

He's a must have for any LOTR fan, especially if you love those Hobbits :lecture :rock
x :wave

Would be nice if someone would sell and ship a Sam and Bill to Canada...

I picked up Galadriel. :D
It`s amazing how some of these can still come brand new.
She`s a pretty one.
I`m sad because I can`t afford to pick up any new ones for probably another month.
I do have Boromir on the way though.
