Predators - 1/6th scale Classic Predator Collectible Figure

Picking up the predator...I will only go for NECA or SS.
If u wanna something big,accurate and detailed to display, u just go for SS, if u would like to choose something small, accurate and less detailed, go for NECA. Have no idea why there is room for HT.

Uhm, you know SS's Pred LSB's paint is pretty much on the same level as HT's new Classic Predator, right?
And that LSB sculpt ain't accurate..moreso than HT's, but definitely not near as accurate as it could have been. Heck, the sketches for the LSB were 100x more accurate than the actual product..

And HT are 1/6 poseable figures? There's that. And since a sizable portion of collectors are 1/6 exclusively, I'd say that that's where there is room for HT.

Anyway I love this figure as it is. I even attempted to transform it to P1 but due to the incapable of doing extreme pose like P1, so I kept him the way he is.

And HT 1/6 is posable. However the room for them is for how high quality their items look. It may be inaccurate but it attracts many people' eyes. Color, shader, details. Everything looks like well-painted and sculpted garage kit which we only dream of owning 20 years ago. It's not perfect but it's worth 220$. That's the room for them.

Id much prefer HT to make figures based on the designs of what the creature was meant to look like and not have the flaws that the man in the suit could bring. The people who moan the figure does not look like the man in the suit should moan the man in the suit did not look like the concept art (which the figures quite often do more). Im surprised people are not wanting zips to be put on these. I want a figure of the creature not a man pretending to be the creature.

Would we all want a suit accurate Aliens-3-resurrection-avp's'r suit? Hell no because the suits for Xeno's looks like crap till its on screen and treated properly with lighting and cover ups.

Now im off to play with my re-designs and comfort myself with them.

Obviously coz it looks like P1 with Classic's paint scheme, armor and with some small retarded looking head. So Tsang newuh doin anything original, just mixin different existin designs and addin his "vision" of the head sculpt

Redesign? WTF? Who said redesign? It's a damn good representation of the Classic from Predators. Would you rather get that fat lump instead? They made it more Predator 1 esque, not some wannabe that somehow couldn't get a tall enough actor inside him.

Agree. I called him "crudsic" in order to teases my friends. It worked.
KPH's pred looks 1000x better. So enigmatic & charismatic.

So full of life...
He almost looked real. Those eyes... they... they disappear... But really, I guess I'm more focused on the ____load of accuracies than be bothered to whine at the inaccuracies. I, too, can see its flaws, but what HT lacks in sculpt, they more than make up for in terms of quality and paintwork.

I dunno why those ended up being more important to me. I guess the main reason for me to enter high-end stuff was for the quality. And since I was an action figure junkie, statues just never cut it.

Cracked this badboy ooen and it is EPIC, a 10/10 figure from me.

So many posing options, light-up features are awesome, might just leave them on.

By the looks of it there is no mesh at all in the Batch 2 classic mask. Just a grid texture in solid black. The texture originally made me think that the colours were inverted from the first batch and it had silver behind a black mesh but it looks like it was just light getting caught in the grooves to give the effect of a different colour behind it.

Good thing ive got both as i prefer this -

Does anyone know if the TaylorDudem Bio from the P1 will fit on this guy? I wanna know because the TD Bio has the 3 hoses on the left side of the mask but the HT doesn't sadly .

Not quite sure what you mean, but to me it just looks like the colours are changed round - black in place of the silver, silver in place of the black...would that make it inverted?

Doubt because the back of the masks have the mandibles built into them as the attaching points
