The HIGH price point of these is going to put them in a different catagory than what NECA aims for.

Also NECA newuh made any 1/4 Predators, so no need to worry and compare

The weird thing is I never minded him in LW, but he never got me to believe that he ever stood a chance against a Predator, especially one with all the gadgets the p2 had. oh well, I still enjoy the movie and we got a great Pred design for me to buy

Hes brilliant in the Lethal Weapons, though hes almost certainly too old for that $h!t now.

I wouldnt be surprised if people actually thought they were. HT announces they are continuing the 1:6 line and aswell as that they are making 1:4 figures and now everybody thinks they are redoing every figure they've ever done in 1:6 too.

I think Hot Toys was following the SCAM thread and felt bad that I couldn't get a Predator 2 Elder. Hahahahah! Fingers crossed for a new 1/6 Elder.

I'm willing to bet that the only figures we see from Predators will be 1/4 scale. Too soon for a double dip on those.

I'm willing to bet that the only figures we see from Predators will be 1/4 scale. Too soon for a double dip on those.

I think they will start with new Predator 2 figures, then 1/4 AVP, or maybe 1/4 AVP first, then new 1/6 P2.

I dont think they will do any of the lost clan again, they haven't finished them yet.

With the price point of 1/6 predator figs where it is now I'm pretty positive I won't be getting any 1/4 hot toys figures. But I'm sure they'll be awesome. I will definately be looking foward to the new 1/6 ones though. Especially since I'm late to the party and don't have a P2. Makes me wonder if I should sell my ed-209 while he's still worth something.

ah sorry, I wasn't considering the elder as a Lost Predator.

For me those are shadow, guardian, borg, boar, etc.....

I guess this means a true P1 with the new bod is coming at some point. Glad I cancelled the Predators Classic Pred last minute

I really don't see why they would make the new Preds in both scales. If you have both on sale at the same time one will ultimately lose out on sales. One scale comes on sale first, the customer may skip it and wait for the other scale to be released...

Can you imagine what it would be like if they did?

I mean, with their detail..quality..the paint..articulation..1/4 scale..all it's missing is accuracy.

A 1/4 P2 is my grail, but I can't trust SS anymore because of their crappy paint..if HT would just go all-out on these, make them perfect..make them ACCURATE..

Yup. Accuracy is king in my book. Bells and whistles are nice, but if the sculpt is off I find it very very easy to resist.

That's the thing, we don't know what's going to be made in what scale. If it was all the same scale that was my thinking.
