Thanks for posting pics Adrosi!
Looks like it turned out better then I had hoped! The helmet doesn't look oversized at all there and love the chrome.
I wish I could've kept my order but I had to cancel, the holidays are killing my budget.:gah:

Wow, this is coming quickly! I kind of wish they had just shipped this with the Hawk, to be quite honest - but maybe I have a false sense of how close they were to release, seeing as how I skipped on the desert trooper and officer.

Only one ex on the way for me - army-building these guys is just too expensive and space-consuming. :)

I could see them making 86 Roadblock first. Even with a new body the figure will still most likely look better with a t-shirt on.

Either 84 or 86 version is fine.

They really could do a two-in-one with Roadblock, seeing as how much gear they like to include anyway.

'84 version is just a camo tank top and orange pants (presumably they'll be a very dark khaki or something for the Sideshow release), plus his .50 cal. You don't even really need the helmet, since he never wore it in either the cartoon or comic, though I imagine they'd include it as well.

All you need for the '86 version is an extra white t-shirt, flak vest, and grey pants. Real easy.

I suppose you'd need his M240 as well, but Sideshow likes to included multiple weapons anyway. I don't think they need to include the cartoon laser rifle with this release. Maybe just a sidearm along with his two MGs.

Seeing as how they sort of did this with Hawk, I could see them doing it again.

TBH, I'm getting tired of the laser rifles, don't mind then not being included. I display my Joes with their real firearms. My parts bin is getting packed with all the laser rifles.

I've maybe seen a photo, maybe 2 with the laser rifle in anyone's shots. Its something that makes it look like the figures are packed with a lot of gear, but its pretty useless.

Is it just me, or is this forum starting to lag when it comes to people posting in-hand pics of released figures right away. How many days has this figure been released, and still nothing but in-box shots.

Hasnt been released in my neck of the woods. Should ship today hopefully.

The EXs are processing today. Not sure if the regulars have processed and shipped, or if that's a pic from an "insider" who got it early.

I dunno, but I've noticed an increase in people _____ing about a lack of pics when figures haven't even been released yet. :wave :nana:

He bills today. :wink1:
