Wait until 1 of the same figure isn't enough cause you have this strange need/want to keep one in the box untouched by human hands,

I wish I could do that. I just don't have the money for that, and I have so many other figures to buy. I have a huge cabinet that I need to fill with Hot Toys!

So, if HT is going for a match on the figure, then why is the coat color so off? Wouldn't they have said oh wait, it's not really this brown in the films?

Yes it is - I prefer it to the HT because it is more accurate in colour; HTs is brown plus the Medi seems to hang very well off the figure, making it look much more natural. The HT coat is full of wires which you would think could help you pose/futze it but they really don't bend the way you want and never end up looking natural.

no.

it's similar but the UU Jack coat is brown as well it also has liner in it this time around. material i think is better than HT though. From pics, I still prefer the HT one, over the original medi jacekt, but I'll know for sure once i get this in my hands hopefully before xmas

I think so too. I pre-ordered another one from TA to put on my custom jack sparrow. but i still like the material of the UU jack better. just my preference I guess

I just wanted someone to get the color right finally, material would matter to me if the color and drape and all looked right.

I agree. the coat color and him not having the P brand and tattoo are what bother me the most about this figure but at least we got whitekite for the tattoo and P brand.
