That would be worth seeing. I have a feeling that the body will be a bit big for the suit though, as the Supes body is a larger and taller muscle body.

You might be right but I'm hopeful. The torso seems a bit longer and of course the arms and legs a bit longer as well as wider but I'm fairly confident the fabric will stretch to accommodate. The only concern I really have is how it will fit around the neck. I guess we will see. I'll post some pics when it's done.

In case anyone is interested in seeing how the Mattel suit looks on the new HT Superman. Also, my attempt at doing an Evil Superman.

Does the belt not fit or did you just not get a chance to close it before the pics? That looks good by the way, better than I expected

Fair enough, it for this use entirely I only want the head, body, hands, and boots also all the necessary pegs from him as I prefer the mattel suit based on the pics I have seen of this one but getting those parts together could prove more pricey then just buying the figure whole and selling the suit.

Here are a few pics with my phone of the CR body with the returns 2 in 1 suit and head. Still have some tweaking to do but overall looks pretty good.

As you can see he is a bit taller than Thor who stands at just under 12 1/2 inches. This fig now stands at about 12 5/8 inches which would be about 6'4" tall. Not bad. The neck is a little long but I can fix that. The suit fits pretty good I'd say. Except for the line just under the rib cage. Not sure how to handle that one.

This is the Superman returns 2 in 1 body compared to the CR body. Deltoids and biceps are much bigger as well as chest and neck. Torso as a whole is taller too. The thighs are way wider and slightly longer. Also the shins are longer which makes this a great body for taller stronger figures. I have another CR body coming so I can try putting Thor on it.

Here's my rece, tly finished Kingdom Come Superman.

Outfit is from the dc direct figure, retailored to be really tight.
I had to pad the croch area also.
He's on a T-800 body.
Head from the dcd direct of course repainted.

Just asked about this figure in another thread.
Will try to keep a look-out for the T-800 body, although it's prohibitively expensive... maybe one of those new muscle bodies that Kaustik Plastik is putting out might work.
What boots did you use? Those look like SR boots if I'm not mistaken.

My Kingdom Come Superman.

Head : dc direct repainted
Suit : dc direct, retailored and darkened
Body : t-800 modified. Thickened the neck and shoulder area
Boots : provided by MOE

I bought this from this seller from e-bay https://stores.ebay.com/onesixthscalefiguretoysworld. This guy is reliable with a high rating.

These heads usually range from 32.00 shipping included. Look around with terms headplay welling and there are some for 28.00 with free shipping.
If you're not familiar with Headplay products, these sculpts are fully painted and the paint quality is comparable to HT and they are cheap.
Here is the thread for his products and releases.

Here's another shot.

I noticed Headplay's ebay page listing for the tom welling head is using this photo on the listing, is this your photo or theirs?

I'm sure its very flattering but since they didnt have permission it seems crappy at the same time.
