Spenser - Love your supermen. Like JediMike I also hope to make my supermen lineup but just been too lazy to start the project. maybe once I have the HT version on hand I will start getting off my butt.

OK guys... Looks like the Dastan body is a no go... Seems Sosa sculpt isn't gonna work on this neck... At least I'm not willing 2 dremel it that much and take a chance on messing it up. It would be my 1st... Plus the upper body would have 2 be repainted to match head skin tone and its rubber so not sure how that would go. Any suggestions out there? Moe thinks I should use the rare ace body.

That rare ACE body is the same body Les Walker used to make my Superman for me. Plus he added extra muscles to the thighs, and a special "one time" neck/shoulder area. I love it! It really captures Reeve's build to me. Good luck finding the ACE body. I haven't really seen any online in a long time.

I used DID Hermann Hanke glasses. They are round but it works for me

So got a question for you guys... is there a good HT quality head like the Tom Welling head of a bald guy that looks like Lex? My Reeve Superman is going to need someone to try and kill him.

Don't know if they are good by wantedyou on ebay as a head modelled on Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor for sale and it comes with a body you can get it painted or unpainted. Again not sure if it is Hot Toys quality cause I haven't bought from them but it is a start or something to consider

the head and body are a cheap combo in terms of price and thats why i got them both from ada chan , thats the seller that you are talking about, anyway the head is the best and only one out there of smallville's lex and its perfect .
I have no idea if the painted version is good in terms of paint job since i got the unpainted version , you know since its an easy paint, but overall if you want a great smallville lex , go for it

forgot to mention that the head will work on any body with a proper neck piece since its pre drilled to fit one.
the body is meh at best but for a simple display it works, but then again i am on the verge of getting a new body for lex.
the big issue with the body is the lack of articulation and the plastic is cheap

Finished my two heads for Alyn and Reeves. What do you guys think of the Alyn sculpt? I might have made his ears stick out too much. I want to do their own distinctive costumes but will take a while.

Well for like an extra 10 dollarsUSD you can have the head sent to you painted so I take it that means wantedyou(ada chan) paints it themselves

Here is my Tom Welling superman custom. Crappy pics but you get the idea. Just used the 2 in 1 returns figure and swapped the head. Anyone know where I can find longer foot pegs? I'm trying to make him a bit taller.

That would be worth seeing. I have a feeling that the body will be a bit big for the suit though, as the Supes body is a larger and taller muscle body.
