Man, I'm gonna have to knock some people over to make sure I get this set then.

Also, to point out a mistake made on MY Marty figure... the blue denim panels on his jacket should NOT go flat across his chest, but should have a "V" dip (down toward his nipples). I didn't notice the V until after I finished my version. Can't tell from Rainman's pictures if he caught this.

Good catch, Dan! Looking at Rainman's pictures, it appears the panels go straight across his chest with no V.
I hope these inaccuracies will be fixed, it would be a shame to put so much effort into this project without correcting these simple flaws.

I hate to point out all these little issues... but having spent a year or more on my own Marty... and now having to look at these little mistakes everyday... I hope Rainman takes these tidbits as they are intended -- to make a figure/set that will truly be flawless and stand the test of time. His needs to be better than the one I did six years ago, in every way...! Can't wait to get this! So excited.

Exactly. Rainman has been pretty good about improving his work once small flaws like these have been brought to his attention. Hopefully, the vest and jacket problems can be addressed.

I would love it if the vest was changed to a polyester material.
But heard that its really hard to work with- in this size.

I Love the head sculpt. I bet it was allot of work to make those little changes in the eye.

Someone needs to get Teddy Daniels in here to contact Rainman about these concerns you guys are having. Biggest one I agree with is the vest color. Way too red and bright.

Out of curiosity, how quick do these sets usually sell out? Were there more or less of the 'Factory Owner' and how quickly did it sell out?

The more highly desirable DX/full sets tend to sell out quickly, but that's in part because "VIP"s (i.e., guys who have spent lots of money on Rainman stuff) get first dibs without having to go through the website, leaving only a few figures up for grabs to the "NVIP"s (Not Very Important Persons)

Having said that, I think the Factory Owner fullset was up for a couple of days. DX sold out in no time, because I think only a couple were available to the public.

The high interest ones have know to sell out I'm well under 10 seconds.

With every release people worry, esp the newbs, but rarely has anyone ready to order missed out. With no DX to fight over and at least 40 available, I think most anyone who wants one of these will get one.
