DX Sparrow is pretty perfect from what I have seen, mine is anyway, but there were reports of a few nose rubs.

What's wrong with Superman? OT I know but I can't face wading through the right thread.

I've owned the DX02 batman, oil leeker (but mine was perfect).

There's an entire thread dedicated to the defects of the Batman Begins excl ( the "damage report" thread): loose ankles that turn out to be broken right out of the box, dented abs, paint rubs on the Wayne head and the suit - that figure is really problematic. With Supes, some have received suits with snags, crooked logo, logo with wrinkle(s). Mark V Iron Man has had issues with the hands (and I have personal experience with this one, it was f'ed up out of the box); the paint on the hand guard dried to the back of the hand (this was the case with both the left and right hands on mine), making it like a solid piece when you try to swap the hands. Also the piece that the wrist peg goes into comes unglued and literally falls out of the forearm, leaving an exposed LED light at the wrist (this happened on the right hand of my figure also). Oh, and my DX Indy has the lopsided PERS syndrome (why the hell this figure even needed PERS in the first place is beyond me). So the claim that Ht has no QC issues is not entirely true - QC seems to be a matter of which figure is in question. Apparently Jack got lucky and I look forward to getting him. Still holding my breath on my yet-to-be-received Supes, though...

I believe Jack will have its own QC issues -- PERS is always a risk, and certainly there are tons of buttons and things that may come unglued, etc. Some are worse than others, but when it happens to you, that's simply the worst.

Does anyone know if the HT jack at BBTS the exclusive or the regular edition?

I believe Alter Ego, BBTS and the other online e-tailers sold the exclusive if you live in the U.S.

Has anyone outside of US ordered it? I mailed the customer service and she didnt seem to understand what exclusive meant, she just kept showing me the long telescope was included in the description so I guess the exclusives can be bought through BBTS?

I have emailed BBTS a couple of times on this, and both times the response was that the long telescope version is available to international customers as BBTS have yet not been advised of any shipping restrictions. I went ahead and ordered the regular through SSC instead, 'cause it is possible that BBTS will, at some point, be advised that they can't ship that release OS. The long telescope isn't enough of a want for me to bother chancing not being able to pick one up at all.

I have to say, the long telescope is an awful exclusive. Well not worth the extremely bad PR that erupted because of it. I know they lost my order because of it, just on principal. Thankfully the general response, seemed to have taught SS a lesson as everything after that, seems to ship outside the US. Thank god, or we would all be scrambling for the HT Luke Bespin Ex on eBay, the Vader head, now that's a worthy addition.

Well you faired better then me I order the EX ,they used the description W/ Telescope and W/O Telescope, it seem on my po the description has changed. Either way I think the regular will not be here till late January early Feb and I am basing this info on AmiAmi website which is showing a restock in Late January based on my experience products hit the States with in 2 weeks of Amiami showing them in stock.

It's annoying too,those clumsy workers at the HT factory couldn't glue the chest logo on right.Other than that,it's fine.Ive only heard about one situation with the headsculpt where it looked like it accidently got some glue on the forehead,it looked really shiny on a area on the forehead.I don't think we have to worry about the headsculpts,HT always deliver great headsculpts.

I have nothing but positive experiences with HT's headsculpts,now Enterbay is a different story,stains,rubs etc.

The long telescope fiasco wasn't Sideshows decision... it was HT's decision.

This is off topic, but yes, I've had issues with my ironman mark vi exclusive and spiderman (loose left knee, black suit appearing under left hand)
From what I read, Superman also suffers from bad pants tailoring (is that a pants or what? )
I recently just bought new goblin. Never thoroughly check him, but until now I still don't notice any QC problems

that's what i'm getting from the pics too. that the multiple layers of clothes & belts make Jack look too bulky. i specifically never got the old versions because he looked fat. figured on a slim bod he'd be fine, but still looks chunky. even those sweet new boots and pants look to bulky. too me, the shape of a silhouette is important and this is off.

wonder if a nice hot water treatment might help. i've seen figure clothes shrink up quite a bit sometimes.
